AGE OF LOVE Spoilers!!

Ok, this is my last posting for AGE OF LOVE today…I think. But I came across these spoilers and I thought I would share them since so many GMMRers seem to be loving this show like I am.
ESPN’s Sam Alipour was on set for a recent taping of NBC’s summer reality hit AGE OF LOVE. While he was there, the bachelor – played this time around by Mark Philippoussis – had to narrow his choices from four women to three. Or so he thought. Here are a few spoilerish details from the episode that will air just prior to the season finale. Got any guesses on which kittens or cougars make it to the end.
- In the final four women there are two kittens and two cougars.
- One of the two remaining cougars is described as someone that could pass for Angelina Jolie’s older sister. (I’m thinking 48 year old Jennifer)
- Mark met the son of one of the cougars and they were both about the same age. (Again, I think it’s Jennifer)
- One of the final two cougars wants to remove herself from the show telling Mark, “There’s so much of you I love, but I think you’re spoiled.” before telling him she’s bothered by his failure to “open up,” to ask questions about her and to show he cares. Here’s more of their conversation as told by Alipour:
“I’m only 30 years old,” Philippoussis reminds Gold Cougar. “But I’m learning every day.”
Ace! Advantage, Philippoussis.
“I’m in my 40s,” replies Gold Cougar, “and I don’t have tomorrow.”
Forehand winner! Deuce.
“You don’t know what we want,” she continues, “what we need.”
Overhead smash! Advantage, Cougar.
“If I knew what women want, I wouldn’t be on this show!”
Backhand winner down the sideline! Deuce! Yes! But, wait … will the chair umpire overrule …?

This is not a social expierment – it’s more a mockery. The double standard is – Mark is older than the two kittens, as much as he is younger than the two cougars. Get a grip – he will chose Amanda, he has already sacrificed Kelli and Jayanna because Amanda whined about them.
I can’t stand Amanda! Although I didn’t like Jayanna that much either, I’m pretty sure that Mark will choose Amanda. Who knows, they always make it like he would obviously choose one but ends up with the other. Mark seems like he is reaalllly looking for someone, however, I think he came on the wrong show. He should of definitely be on the BACHELOR. 🙂

It annoys me that mark gets rid of everyone who threatens amanda. in the beginning she said that she didnt like how he kissed kelly before her, so he got rid of her. then she told him last week that jayanna put her down. so he eliminated her. this is dumb!! i think jen is perfect for him, minus the fact that she probably cant have children. but i think amanda is childish and foolishly in love with him, nearly obsessed.

Jennifer is not perfect for Mark. He wants children and she is too old to have them, that is a huge disadvantage to her.
Jayanna was the one that he was really interested in! Amanda is SICK! She stalked him in the woods and then waited in his tent! Who does that? The worse part is that she is 25 and so am I. I am disgusted by that fact and she makes us all look bad! It’s horrible how desperate she is. I think it’s sad that Megan couldn’t fly with them and got kicked off for that. However once again Jayanna was the one for him. Why listen to Amanda and not give Jayanna a chance to explain.
Good luck Jen as that’s who I think it will be. However these couples from shows like this never last. I hope Jayanna gets her own show!
i agree that jayanna should get her own show! she should be on the bachelorette or something. however i can see her doing commercials…like a face commercial. for face wash haha. shes so beautiful, i wish he didnt sack her
I THINK IT SHOULD BE JEN,AND IF HE IS STUPID ENOUGH TO PICK A CHILDISH GIRL LIKE AMANDA. HE IS STUPID. IF YOU WANTS SOMEONE WHO IS RESPONSIBLE AND NOT IMMATURE HE WILL BE SMART AND PICK JENNIFER. AMANDA HAS BEEN CHILDISH THROUGH THIS WHOLE THING. I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THE SHOW FROM THE BEGINNING AND HE HAS ALOT OF SINGLE DATES WITH JENNIFER. it’s not fair that jen is 18 years older than him but amanda is only 5 years younger. it’s not really him in the middle where age may not be a factor. his mother will never approve. long term jen won’t be able to have his children, but she would definately be more suited to his celebrity lifestyle because of her maturity and sophitication. Amanda is too unexpirenced in life. definately naive. can’t wait til next week
I can’t beleive that you guys LIKE Jayana! Did you not see how fake she is?? Or the numerous lies she told?? She was not even into Mark, she was into ehrself winning the game! I am not a huge fan of Jen either, as she seems really slutty. Funny that I like him more now than at first and the girls less!

I can not believe that she is still remaining. She is so Desprate and she doesnt deserve him. She trys to make him feel bad so he will get rid of any of the girls she doesnt want becasue she knows they are competition. She is so whinney its annoying.

I hope he chooses Jen, She seems to be more laid back. I don’t think it will work if he is with Amanda. Especially when he looks back at her crazy footage. If he doesn’t choose Jen, then she’s better off without him.
It’s too bad if he does choose Amanda. What’s up with her oddly shaped eyebrows and her grossly mis portioned lips? They way she talks drives me crazy with her mouth, I don’t even like to look at her. A hockey team dancer? Where, North Dakota?
Jen is elegant, smart, absolutely gorgeous, and if he can handle her, then it’s the best choice.
My bet is he picks Amanda (only cause she can have kids still and is like a puppy following himwhich he may like as someone used to the press) and dumps her by the time they do the talk show rounds. At least I hope so! She is not quality. She’s ANNOYING!!!
Jen can get any guy she wants right? No wonder she’s not desperate and Amanda chases him around!
Three possibilities:
(1) It’s just an elaborate booty-call and he picks Jen. She’s a LOT older than he is; just “happens” to be the oldest one on the show. She’s beautiful, classy, and lovely — and doesn’t need a boy-toy.
(2) He wants to get married and picks Amanda. He certainly is leading her on that way. “Babe” in the tent… the way he holds her, explains himself, etc. Frankly, he’s doesn’t seem good enough for her, but I realize we’re not seeing the whole picture. I like Amanda – and I do believe in love at first sight.
(3) He was just doing this for the publicity and the “perks” and picks neither of them. He’ll blame it on his mother.
Amanda is a stage 3 clinger nuto —- I hope he does not choose her, he will be MISERABLE
Jennifer is beautiful. She should get her own show. If he chooses Jennifer I will have more respect for him. They could always adopt if she can’t still conceive, but with today’s fertility treatments you never know……
In response to your comment, didn’t you ever hear Mark saying he wants children of his own. To have an older woman go through fertility treatments is risky… and not to mention she may not want children anymore. (after all, she is already a mother and has a son) Would any of you have a child at 48?????? If she would get pregnant now, she would be 49 by the time she has the child. AND 64 YEARS OLD BY THE TIME THE CHILD IS 15 YRS OLD.
Mark and Amanda will go off into the sunset – they belong together and deserve each other. But it will not last. She is the MOST annoying girl as he will discover. That mouth – ick! Mark seems like a nice young man, but he’s only 30 for goodness sake! Would prefer to see our Mark at 40 or even 50…men age so nicely! Hope everyone’s getting paid well….silly show – am totally hooked! LOL
Please! Don’t judge how old one can be to be a great parent! My mother had 6 amazing and intelligent children, from 28-48! And the youngest is a brilliant doctor, so do not judge, we had a great family life.
Jen is gorgeous, and mature…Amanda and her trout mouth are sooooooooo annoying, get rid of her, she’s a loser!
First of all, most of the 40s girls were/are just as good looking as the 20s– they sure didn’t pick the cream of the crop of the twentysomethings… Amanda just happened to be one of the “better” looking ones, though she is far from hot.
And the 20s and 40s aren’t fair because the 40s are at least 10 years older, while the 20’s are only a few younger.
Mark will pick Amanda for sure. I think he’s known the entire time that he wants to pick Amanda and the rest of the show has been staged to mislead people until the finale. Like last week, he obviously slept (or massaged) with Jen, after he described their date as “saving the best for last”, then in the one on ones he had his hand on her leg. They’re trying to make it look like he might pick someone else… He’s thrown off every person who has ever slightly offended Amanda, which let’s admit is pretty easy (does she realize she’s on a love/game show??).
He’ll pick Amanda, he’ll get some from her, if he hasn’t already, and then they’ll really get to know each other and break up like every other reality show couple. She’s whiny and insecure. I’m 27 and feel like I’d get along better with Jen than I would with Amanda, she’s nuts. Anyways, at least it’s been a little entertaining.
Age of Love what is the prurpose I guess its their motto
”dose age really matter” but what happen if mark chooses a 25 year old women name amanda what is the point of the show if the a 30 year old man will obviously chosse a women younger than him than older there is no scientific explaination there is not purpose of this show if however mark chooses a 48 year old which age of love will prove their purpose from my view of mark he seem really stupid and unaware of women everytime he elimnates one of the 40 somethings because of amanda whinning about them he clearly dosen’t see what we see that amanda been manipulating him to elimanate all the 40’s that she dosen’t like first Kelli beacuse she used Kelli bregging to make elimanate her second jayanna who she was lecture and given her a advice to see if Mark is really for her and not a man she would later just dumped him but amanda twisted the truth in jayanna’s advice and lied to Mark which made him get rid of her third was jen who clearly warn by jayana video that Amanda was a desperate woman and is backstabber to getting anthing what she want which short hours it was only her and jen after maria elimanted herself and magan was forced to be elimanated because she coulden’t get on a plane but shortly amanda did it again aking mark feel terrialbe for giving jen a better date than her amanda is nothing a self lowing jerk who not stop at anything until she gets what she wants even if it backstabbing the 40’s and lying cheating and not playing fair i hope jen wins and marrys mark becuase she can be the dream girl that mark have alway dreamed about a women that would care and have resposibilities and be at his side when he have bads times
I hope he picks Amanda. I don’t think she is being whiny, i think she is just being up front with her feelings. she needs to be completely honest with him. Her lips are really annoying when she talks though. I was really sad to see megan go. she was a sweetheart, but i’m pretty sure she would have been kicked off because she couldn’t really hold a conversation with mark. Jen is a stupid hooker. she is way too old, and her face looks like it was stretched way too much from a bad face lift or something. she is sick, and so are her nostrils. ugh.
as for those who liked jayanna…wtf? WHY? she was suck a b*tch, and a liar. she lied to her teeth about what she said to the rest of the girls. she was so annoying. ugh, and the nastiest teeth i have ever seen. i wanted to punch her in the mouth everytime she smiled. ugh.
I think he should pic Jen I also liked jaynna. Amanda is a stalker and she can’t handle women being around Mark so he is a celebrity maybe she should go for a realestate agent or a high school sweetheart. They would not last in one of his interveiw he said he loved his dog because his dog would crawl up in his bed when he came home and never asked where was he who was he with and Amanda would not last he would throw her out like yesterdays newspaper.
Amanda is a completely obsessive stalker. Heaven help him if he chooses her. The wingnut actually went after him in the woods, I wish she’d found him…maybe then Mark would get just how nutty she is. She’s insecure, whiny, and jealous. Not exactly prime girlfriend material. It will never last, and then she’ll probably boil a bunny.

Mel, you can’t stand it that Jennifer is so beautiful, can you?! Jen is not a hooker, where do you get off saying that she is?! She is far more intelligent than the whiny, backstabbing, needy Amanda. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Jen’s face. Amanda has gobs of makeup on and looks FAR OLDER than Jennifer or Jayanna. As for Jayanna, she did not lie. Every single thing she said was the truth, and she TOLD Mark that she had talked to those girls when she was lying in the hammock with him. Amanda twisted things to suit herself…she backstabbed Jayanna just like she did Kelli, and now she has done it to Jennifer. Mark is an absolute fool, and he will pay a heavy emotional price eventually if he chooses Amanda. Another thing, Jayanna is naturally beautiful and there is nothing wrong with her teeth. Amanda is fake. Not even her chest is real. I liked her at first, but after seeing her turn into a stalker and how manipulative she is, I find her gross beyond words.
Did you guys forget? What about Amanda squealing on Jen for giving “ALL THE DETAILS about the massage???” She was trying to get Mark to ditch Jen with her tattle-tale ways. I would like to think that Mark isn’t that slo-o-w, not to catch on to Amanda’s method by now. Thank goodness Maria actually decided to leave so Mark didn’t cut cool-Jen because of Amanda’s whining about the way Jen dared to review her date out loud (as if Amanda would not have done the EXACT same thing if given the opportunity). Amanda is scary-psycho-jealous. Run for the hills from her Mark!
As someone mentioned before me, this is a love/game show. You can’t deny that Amanda is playing the game by being upfront with Mark about how she feels about the other girls. She hasn’t lied once about what the women have said or done.
Jen seems nice enough but I think Mark remains in shock that a woman her age can have the body that she does. And I think it will end there.
I say that he’ll choose Amanda. It doesn’t mean it will last – it just means that she’s played well.
i think he should totally pick amanda….she loves him, and is not old enough to be his mother!!!! hes a beautiful man, and he deserves a beautiful woman!!! AMANDA it is!!
i think jen will win. Amanda is an insane stalker that would do anything to get a guy. Shes also too young to know what she wants in life as far as marriage goes. Just like all the cougars who married young- her relationship may not last with mark.
I think although Jen is the more logical choice, Mark will chose Amanda. If he didn’t, the show wouldn’t have a happy ending. Jen would get over Mark not choosing her-she’s a grown woman and could handle it. However, Amanda is still an insecure kid and if Mark didnt chose her, she would have her heart shattered. She is really naive for being so open about being in love with him…I mean she barely knows the guy! If I was Mark and saw what Amanda was saying behind the scenes, I would totally be scared off. And she’s stupid too! How could she be in love with him when screws around with all the other girls? If he really cared about her, he would hold off. DUH. Jen should win, although she probably won’t and Amanda defiently needs to grow up.

Perhaps he will have to counsel Bachelor Mark on the couch before he is able to clear his mind from all of the kissing and groping on piles of pillows and make some sort of serious life decision (albeit temporary) and pick one of them to be loyal to.
Well, it ended as I knew it would. Of course he was going to chose the younger of the two women.. like DUH! But Jen can walk away with everyone knowing she is one of the classiest women on reality TV. I was impressed with the way she walked away w/o a bunch of tears, YOU GO GIRL!
Lets try doing a show with the woman choosing between younger or older men… NOW THERES A SHOW!! hint hint NBC!!!
Amanda really does piss me off. She is the spoiled one, so i guess her and mark really fit together. Jen is awesome, i love her.but from a logical point of view…she could be the guy;s mothers..so that’s a tiny bit weird. the station does make it sound like he’ll choose Jen, but of course that only says that he’ll do the exact opposite. Amanda whines too much. He kicked out two women for her. Even if he does like her, she’s too manipulative. A woman like that will make his life hell.

I was not surprised that he picked the younger girl. most men don’t realize what they really have until it walks away. An older woman knows what she wants and is not afraid to ask for it. To bad most men can’t say the same thing. In a short time I’m betting he had wished he had picked the more mature woman. 20 year olds are still to much into the “teen” thing. Good luck to him he will need it.
Now that the show is over…I can’t wait to find out if they are still going out. History has told us that by the time the finale ends on most of the shows “the couple” is already in the crapper.
Oh yeah as for Mark Consuelos…there were BIG rumors that he was getting VERY friendly with kittens & cougars and Kelly Ripa demanded his return home ASAP.
It was pretty obvious that he would pick Amanda. I happen to know him, his last girlfriend was 18 for heaven sakes. Even Amanda is too old for him! He’s a nice guy, and deserves someone way better than her. Jen would have been great for him. Who says they have to spend the rest of their life together? A few years with a real woman who has class and maturity would do him a world of good. Amanda was the most annoying, nasty, bitchy one of the lot. She should have been the first one he got rid of, but I guess it proves that in the end, men like bitches, and can’t see when they are being let manipulated. Plus, who would want to kiss somone with that horrible ugly mouth… would be like kissing a catfish.
I’m an Aussie and I’ll tell you something for free. Philippoussis has never been a phenomenal tennis player and only made one slam final, in 1998. So! I think for the show to display him as a tennis legend and a player at the top of his game is a joke.
He should have been an actor as he loves the rich and glamorous lifestyle, surrounded by models and fast cars.
The average age of his girlfriends is 21, so there was no way in hell he was going to pick one of the older women. It wouldn’t fit his image, which he cares a lot about.
The only reason he went on this show was to put his profile on the front page.
I feel sorry for the older women, who seemed to genuinely be wanting something out of this show.
The younger girls however, just loved the cameras and attention.
I find it hilarious, that the younger girls were completely insecure, but constantly mentioned how this was the older women’s feelings. The cougars showed class and maturity that not only comes with experience, but is part of a person from a younger age, if they have it.
It’s a shame that the kittens are so spoilt and attention seeking, because they could have learned a thing or two from them.
On second thought, maybe The SCUD is perfect for the little girls.
I almost thought Mark was going to make what would have been the right decision, which was to choose Jen. But like an idiot he chose that backstabbing pathetic little whiney Amanda. I hope that when Mark finally gets a chance to watch the show and all the things that he didn’t get to see, he will honestly see what a fool he was. Sadly…in Mark’s eyes, age did make a difference. It’s too bad maturity levels weren’t something he could have decided on.
Oh and by the way…I am a 36 year old woman whom has been dating a 23 year old man for over a year. I can honestly this man has made me very happy and I’m actually glad that WE both saw past what we thought was an age barrier. We are both truly blessed to have a love as wonderful as ours. That was the reason I was so attracted to the show. It honestly made me happy to be a 30 something after seeing those little whiney bitches!!
That show was a farce. He is a momma’s boy who only chose the younger one because mommy liked her best. Gimme a break! He shoulda just stayed home with mommy and held onto her apron strings. ugh.
The whole idea of trying to get “chosen” by a man is repugnant to me. That is putting yourself in such a position of submission — it’s as if equal rights and mutual respect don’t even exist. Here’s something to consider, for all women out there who think they need to be “chosen” by a man, if they must continue to think so.
Phillipoussis deserves who he chose, and he did NOT deserve ANY of the older women that he could have chosen, because they were way out of his league. He did not step up to the plate for them. The way he eliminated Jayanna BEFORE asking her about what Amanda said about her was the tip-off for me. She was the only woman left, so there was no changing his mind and deciding to keep her by the time he confronted her. His decision was totally arbitrary and showed lack of judgement. Jayanna certainly deserves better than that. Any great woman does.

I think Mark had already informed Amanda that she would be chosen. Hence, nothing Jen said phased Amanda even a little during the finale because she already knew she would be picked. Mark is a bug-eyed joke who just wanted media attention and dear old mom didn’t even know Amanda’s name when she told Mark she “liked the younger one” uh, even though she couldn’t recollect her name. Yeah, right. Anyhow, Jen is the one who lucked out because she is smoking hot and Amanda could only dream of looking like her when she turns 48.
