What to Watch…Monday, July 23, 2007

July 23, 2007 by

Sorry I’m a little late in getting today’s What to Watch list up. When I’m out here on the West Coast I try to get up by 5:30am to update GMMR, and that already seems late since it’s already 8:30am for those of you on the East Coast. But a little late night Harry Potter reading had me sleeping through my alarm this morning.

I hope you had a great weekend. I spent Saturday in Napa (yes, again) and it was fantastic. The weather was perfect, the wine was delish and I had a great time catching up with an old college friend. Overall not a bad day.

On to TV…
art.youtube.screen2.jpgDO NOT MISS the CNN/YouTube Deomcratic Presidential Debate tonight at 7pm on CNN. Americans from all over the country, and the world have been submitting questions for the candidates via YouTube from some time now, and tomorrow night some of those videos will be shown and will force the candidates to answer questions that they may not be prepared for.

Tonight is the premiere of SAVING GRACE on TNT. The new drama starring Holly Hunter. I’m going to do be watching it at my lunch break today and I’ll let you know if it’s worth checking out. But I gotta tell ya, from everything I’ve read so far, this one should go on the TiVo sight unseen.

Saving Grace, Holly HunterSAVING GRACE at 10/9c on TNT. A gritty crime series centering on hard-living Oklahoma City detective Grace Hanadarko (Holly Hunter), who experiences a spiritual awakening upon encountering an enigmatic angel (Leon Rippy). First up: A 10-year-old girl vanishes.

I love this blog, how do you keep up with all the TV listing and descriptions. I would love to have something like this (not TV of course, you are the master of that), but something else I can give an update on. How did you get started and maintain the information?

    Please advise.

Thanks Ms. B. I got started a while back at the suggestion of a friend. I did a little mini Q&A a while back, just type in “Ask GMMR” (with the quotes) into the search box at the top of the page for a little more info.

As for the TV listings. I start off each day over at MeeVee.com. I made a personalized guide of all my favorite shows (and some that GMMR readers seems to enjoy) so every time I head over to their “On TV” section, my own personal, customized TV guide is waiting for me. It’s pretty easy…you should try it out.

Hey, I checked out Greek today while I was at work and caught up on the first two episodes, and watched tonight.. It’s kinda good, and the guy Evan in it reminds me of a cross between Logan on GG and Logan on VM. It’s kind of creepy. Anyone else watching it?
