BIG BROTHER 8 Recap & Spoilers: The Power of Veto

August 7, 2007 by

Big Brother 8

The latest episode of BIG BROTHER 8 just ended and I need a shot of whiskey. It’s so stressful watching the show, I can’t even imagine being in that house.

So what went down tonight? A lot actually.

First up was the power of veto competition. Tonight’s participants: Jen, Kail, Dani, Dustin, Zach and Jameka all had to sacrifice something to stay in the game. Be the one to sacrifice the most and you stick around. Sacrifice the least and be eliminated. A few highlights…Jen, Kail, Zach and Jen have to wear a bunny suit for the next five days. The same group and Jameka have to pour a nasty concoction over their heads once every hour for 24 hours straight. Kail and Jen have 30 days of slop. And if Jen wins BB8 she forfeits half of the $500,00 grand prize. In the end it was that sacrifice that gave Jen this week’s Power of Veto.

With Jen essentially off the block, Dani had to name a replacement. As was foreshadowed in Sunday’s show, Dani and Dick had their sights set on Eric. Jen and Daniele came to a truce and banded together to get Eric out of the game. And in a moment I never thought I would see, Dick and Jen found peace and decided that it would be in the best interest of the game if they buried the hatchet and tried to get along.

I wish Dick would make that same truce with everyone in the house. Dick’s verbal tirade was pointed toward Eric tonight. Dick might be a smart player, but personally I can’t get over his bullying tactics in the house. I know they really don’t have much to do with the game, but it just makes my stomach crawl because you know he has that temper outside of the house as well. If Dick were watching from home and saw a grown man screaming at and verbally abusing his daughter the way he has Jen, then he would be going ape shit.

So with Jen off the block, Dani nominates Eric. The other houseguests aren’t sure they are ready to see Eric leave yet. At the time of the airing of the show Dustin, Amber, Jameka and Jessica are ready to throw the game for a loop and try to keep Eric in the game. Zach, desperate for friends, said that he’s going to vote the way Dani wants him to.

After Dick’s outburst at Eric, Dustin suggests to Daniele that she put her father up on the block. Yeah, not the smartest move Dustin. Watch your back because you could be next if Eric leaves this week.

So as of now it’s 4 houseguest for Eric (Dustin, Jameka, Amber and Jessica) and three against(Dick, Jen and Zach). So unless vote changes this week it looks like we might be saying goodbye to Kail. But come on, it’s a LONG time between now and Thursday so nothing it set in stone. NOTE: For more on how the vote is swaying, check out the latest Big Brother 8 spoilers from the live feeds. Kilwiggle just gave us another update (as of 10:15pm EST)

Oh these crazy houseguests. They would all be better off if they just got to watch some TV. Someone put in THE OFFICE and let these people laugh a little.

So here we go….it’s Eric or Kail. Who do you think WILL go home this week and who do you think SHOULD go home this week?

Yeah, sorry about that. Misspellings just bother me. It’s funny how you put the correct “you’re” in your joke. 🙂

I cannot stand Eric.! He is a goober, he is a slime. I want America to turn on him. I want him voted out! He is sleaze and never served his purpose as America’s player. It was a lame twist, so buh-bye!

Is anyone else sick and tired of those slimebags aka Evel Dick and Danielle? I’m tired of this non-sense and I can’t even function in society with this going on i cant stand it! They are tryin to control this game and i am furious about it. I hope Danielle’s bf leaves her for being a skank and a dirty pirate hooker! I hope this plan totally backfires on them! Go ERIC!!!

Sad to say it’s Kail’s time to go. The only way to get D&D out is if Eric stays. Even reading all the super spoilers this week, I still was on the edge of the couch the whole time!

I like Dick and Danielle.Even if Dick is saying mean stuff.Maybe he has a reason why he is saying mean stuff to the other players.Like Amber she cry’s way to much. And Jen I think she is crazy.Just because Dick is siding outs not bothering her. Then comes up and trys to hit him.And tells him not to burn her and which he did not.
