Britney is Back on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (Watch)

May 12, 2008 by

Britney Spears is back for her second (and maybe not last) appearance as Abby on tonight’s episode of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. If you just need your Britney fix, then check out these clips from tonight’s episodes.

I personally wasn’t impressed with her first appearance and I can’t say that these scenes are giving me any confidence in her being any better this time around. She’s just not a natural actress. But I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, if only for the viewers she’s bringing to the show.

Speaking of, the CBS Upfronts are this week. Cross everything you’ve got and hope that HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER gets picked up for next season.

Ratings are good, but I wish they didn’t have to come because of Britney. I hope it gets renewed! I’ve loved this show since the beginning. I just hope it isn’t only because of Britney.

Wow. I just saw the actual show and Britney was…not good. Is that mean? It was more painful than her first stint, and that’s saying something.

Elizabeth – ditto. I didn’t think her first appearance was terrible, but…it wasn’t very funny either. But if stuntcasting will get CBS to renew the show, then I guess so be it!

All i can say is yeeech. She needs to stay away from acting of any kind.

Lackluster performance by Brit. I did enjoy the Lilly/Marshall story line about selling her paintings instead of her clothes. I thought it was sweet at the end that her paintings are soothing to animals (except for birds, which means her art will never hang in my home since we have 3 parrots AND a ceiling fan).
