Jim Cramer on THE DAILY SHOW with Jon Stewart

March 13, 2009 by

Jon Stewart might be at the helm of a fake news show but there is no denying he’s one hell of an interviewer. I don’t mean to oversell the importance of Stewart but if our traditional journalists were doing the job that Stewart is, at least in terms of this interview with CNBC’s Jim Cramer we would all be better off. Forget about the comedy, this was an amazing piece of journalism.

Can Jim Cramer comeback from this interview? Honestly, I’m not sure. His credibility was so shot down by Stewart that I’m not sure he can survive this. Jon Stewart was credited for taking down CNN’s CROSSFIRE with just one appearance, has he done it again?

Man, Jon Stewart just HAMMERED him, as you knew he would. And it was painful to watch, but I love him for that. It needed to be said and it needed to have attention drawn to the situation. It was extraordinarily kick ass, and yes, I think he pulled another Crossfire.

I loved that episode. It really showed how brilliant Jon Stewart is. He isn’t just fart jokes 🙂 He is this amazing amazing man, and so smart. because I couldn’t understand half of what was said. But, man, I loved that interview. Okay, I’ve been reduced to saying nothing, so I’ll just shut up.

I didn’t get a chance to watch last night, but I’m dying to. That’s my first priority tonight. Jim Kramer has just been ridiculous in trying to escape blame for very specific things that he’s not only said, but ADVISED. Just man up and admit you made mistakes, okay? I love that Stewart won’t let these guys off the hook the way most people would (ahem, Letterman with McCain). I also can’t watch the Hulu clip, being in the crazy foreign land called Canada, so I’ll have to wait until after work. Sounds like having a drink in hand to witness the slaughter won’t be a bad idea though.

That was wonderful, go Jon. Kramer is a snake that has been selling a lot of oil. I also enjoyed the extra bonus Morgan/Chuck PSA I hadn’t seen.

I watched the re-airing of it on comedy central tonight and it was great stuff! Jim Cramer has always annoyed the crap out of me. I wouldn’t mind seeing him go…..

My spouse and i do not think of which “work” may be the essential. I’m sure “objectivity” may be the important.
