Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Thursday, February 11, 2010

February 11, 2010 by

Another new Thursday night show for me to watch? Say it ain’t so. There just aren’t enough hours in the day.  But yes, I’m going to attempt to add one more show to my already overbooked Thursday night schedule. That show? SURVIVOR.

Although I have seen a season or two in its early years, scheduling conflict has always prohibited me from watching the reality show.  Those scheduling conflict haven’t gone away but I’m going to try to work around them if I can. Most likely I’ll watch the show online on the weekend.  I really just need to learn to say no.

Let’s take a look at just some of the highlights. Talk to me…what will YOU be watching tonight (and in what order?)

The Vampire Diaries | 8pm on The CW

First and foremost on Thursdays is TVD!! After that I’ll be watching the NBC lineup with the hubby. I watch Grey’s if time permits, but usually save that and PP for Friday viewing. I ♥ Thursdays!

Is this the last new Thursday line up on NBC before the Olympics? If so, bummer!

Community, P&R and The Office have to be recorded because volleyball is conveniently smack in the middle of primetime tv. I’ll get home in time to catch PR live. Models of the Runway has been horribly boring so I may just skip that and go straight to the NBC stuff. We’ll see.

Good for you, Kath! I am really looking forward to this season (even though Boston Rob is back. Gross). I hope Colby gets to stay a long time. I’d love to see an alliance with him, Stephenie and Tom. What a power team that would be!

I have watched most seasons, but last season I gave up after about 3 or 4 episodes (didn’t want to watch Russell because he was too evil. I live through enough evil daily! Why would I waste an hour watching it!) If this season goes the way of Survivor: All-Stars, I may check out early again. They were a bunch of prima donnas (sp?). All they were worried about was voting out the previous winners and then we were left with all the lame contestants that shouldn’t have been invited back at all! Shi-Ann? Amber (she was only asked back ’cause Elisabeth Filarski Hasselbeck said no, then Amber wins the dumb thing)? Rob? None of them deserved to return to this game. I could come up with some great characters who they just overlook because they weren’t “water cooler” (aka douchey) enough.
