The biggest problem with Skins is the acting. The kids are too pretty looking and much too conceited. The British version takes really average, normal kids and really connects you with their characters. Their problems are real and they are sincere in their feelings and actions. I think it truly gets to the core of real teenage problems. Watch the British version and don’t pass judgement on the American one because it can’t live up to that standard for many reasons. They are freaking out for no reason in my opinion.
