FRINGE: Jasika Nicole Teases ‘Back To Where You’ve Never Been’

January 13, 2012 by

I’ve teased tonight’s episode of FRINGE — and so have FRINGE stars John Noble (Walter) and Joshua Jackson (Peter) — a lot. But how about a few more teases from Jasika Nicole (Astrid)?

It’s big,” Nicole teased to reporters on set in October. “And unfortunately, I’m not in it very much. But…this is a big alternate universe [episode], this universe kind of amalgamation thing. And so alt-Astrid is in it briefly. But there’s a lot going on. I’m kind of glad that I’m not in it that much cause it’s so cool when you see the really big episodes, like the one with the girl and he turns her into the marionette puppet thing [last season]. I wasn’t around for that, so seeing it was like, ‘Holy shit. This is really cool.’ I feel like this is gonna be one of those episodes, where I get to sit back and just be a viewer.”

And as an actor-viewer, Nicole was excited about a big return in the hour.

“Someone from the past comes back,” she elaborated. “And it turns out you think it’s just alternate universe [we’re seeing], and they’re fighting [with each other], but what if there is an outside force that is involved somehow?”

And while you wait, why not check out this FRINGE video from Fox?
