When THE BIG BANG THEORY’s fifth season ended, Howard Wolowitz had taken two pretty grown-up steps: marrying Bernadette and going into space. And while TBBT co-creator Bill Prady wasn’t totally sure right after the finale aired whether the sixth season would start with Howard still in space, based on these new pictures from the season premiere, it seems we have our answer.

Take a look at some photos from “The Date Night Variable”…

If a picture is worth a thousand words, the words for these pictures would all ask questions. It looks like Raj is going to be put firmly in the familiar role of third wheel again. My coworker and I at Dish were talking about the new season. We want to see Leonard and Penny together for sure. Raj needs to find someone as well, the sad lonely nerd thing is getting old I think. Fortunately, I will have the whole season recorded automatically by my new Hopper DVR by Dish with its Primetime Anytime feature. Primetime Anytime records the four national networks during primetime without me having to set it up, its all automatic. When I come home from work on Thursdays I will have the choice of watching The Big Bang Theory as it aired or with the commercials pre-skipped thanks to the new Auto Hop feature.
