BONES: Brian Klugman Cast as a New Squintern

December 19, 2012 by

BONES is officially adding another squintern to the mix: almost two months after BONES producers Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan teased that a script was in the works with a new intern, a rep for the show has confirmed that Brian Klugman has landed the role.

According to TVLine (who was first to break the casting), the new squintern is named Oliver Wells, has four degrees, and isn’t intimidated by Brennan…which could either please her greatly or annoy her to no end.

Klugman is tentatively set to make his debut on BONES in late February.

Um, does anyone else see a slight resemblance between Klugman and BONES star TJ Thyne (Hodgins)?

BONES returns with (back-to-back) new episodes January 14, 2013.

zzzzzz, another intern, hope that means we are losing one of the others, we don’t need more cast, give the main cast some screen time. enough with the squinterns, this whole season has been a filler to get to season 9. bah, humbug

With an ever increasing number of women going into math and science you would think they could have chosen a woman and not another white bread male.

I wonder that since the ratings have never been lower than now. The introduction
of new characters is a lame attempt to get some new viewers.
For myself, I find Bones rather boring… also, when will Booth call the mother of his
child, love of his life by her name.

Laura, Booth called Brennan by her name “Temperance” in the last episode “The Ghost in the Machine”, though he usually doesn’t unless he knows she’s extremely upset. Also, I agree with El. Why couldn’t a women be cast as the new intern? They have way more than enough male interns! It’s definitely time to cast a female intern so hopefully this new guy won’t stick around for too long!
