FRINGE: Anna Torv on Winning Another Saturn Award, the Cut Etta/Olivia Finale Scene, and More

July 2, 2013 by

FRINGE star Anna Torv (Olivia) has taken a little bit of a break in the five months since her show ended its run on Fox, but she did make an appearance at last week’s Saturn Awards — where a glowing Torv just happened to pick up her fourth consecutive award for Best Actress.

After Torv accepted the honor, I spoke with her about what being recognized for her work on FRINGE means to her, about a certain cut finale scene, and more…

Even if the Emmys didn’t get it right, are you happy the Saturn Awards recognized the work Torv put into FRINGE?

I personally, yes, I am not only happy, but rewarded in some way for this magnificent prize Saturn Awards, which was awarded for the 4th time for this exceptional actress Anna Torv, its beautiful and outstanding work in the saga of Fringe. The indifference or the usual myopia, for years, Emmy Award, with respect to the bright work of the actors of Fringe, I do not really have to talk about, and opine that because this is a legitimate case originated from another parallel universe unknown by the logic of my reason.
