NBC Renews THE NIGHT SHIFT for an Expanded Season 2

THE NIGHT SHIFT will return for a second season, the network announced. And, as a bonus, the show will be expanding its episode count: while season 1 was only eight episodes, season 2 will consist of 14 episodes.

    Although this show isn’t of ‘ER’ or ‘Chicago Hope’-type quality, the cast and stories do work and blend well together, and it is entertaining. And it’s good to see another show from NBC that didn’t tank right off the bat, and another good show to fill the ‘off season’ schedule with. Congrats to ‘The Night Shift’ all around!
