BONES: John Boyd Teases Aubrey and Brennan Working Together

December 3, 2014 by

Bones-TheMutilationMasterManipulator_scene8_0128_hires1The newest member of the BONES family, John Boyd (Aubrey), has been spending a good amount with David Boreanaz’ Booth, but when I spoke with him recently, he acknowledged that “Aubrey has a side to him that’s a little bit Brennan.”

And while the duo have had a few memorable moments, they’ll get their biggest amount of time together in this week’s episode, “The Mutilation of the Master Manipulator“: while Booth is off at traffic school (due to Boreanaz prepping to direct the 200th episode), Aubrey and Brennan officially work together.

In the video below, Boyd shares a bit of what that dynamic is like, plus he talks about how much he knew about Aubrey when he joined the show…

BONES airs Thursdays at 8 PM on Fox.

Ugh, not interested in seeing Brennan with any FBI partner other than Booth, what happened to her statement that she would NEVER work with any FBI agent but BOOTH?

I just want to Gibbs smack the Bones writers and Stephen Nathan…..they can barely write any B&B scenes since ep 3 AND B&B partnership is practically non-existant since they decided that Aubrey has to be stuck to Booth like an unwanted conjoined twin BUT for this ep they have NO problem in writing multiple scenes for Brennan & Aubrey out in the field…..give me a break..ugh…smh.

I’m interested to see how it works out. The end scene from the previous episode (and others like when Aubrey is so clearly impressed with Brennan) make me want to see them together more. Obviously B&B scenes are my favorite (and online traffic school , on the surface, is…kind of a weak d-plot but we’ll see) but it will be interesting to see what happens.

Online driving school is a beyond lame reason to sideline the lead of your show…Booth isnt a novice driver, he has 30yrs of experience of driving, give or take, but he cant complete the online driving school whilst working the case, he’s so inadequate at driving it takes him the length of solving the crime to complete the school, when it only takes 10 hrs or so for an experienced driver to complete…who is passing these scripts and ideas? Certainly not hart hanson.

You people are forgetting that this is the episode before the 200, which David Boreanaz directed. Directing an episode and acting in the previous one is almost impossbile. David will have very few scenes this week for that reason. Please stop saying things when you don’t even know the reason behind the choice.

I KNOW that David needs time off to prep…what I am saying is sidelining him with an online driving school cplot is BEYOND LAME…Booth is head of special crimes for petes sake, come up with a better storyline like he has to go to court to testify on something and needs to be available to the courts… again it is a beyond lame plot device…

My husband and i were really satisfied Peter managed to carry out his reports from the precious recommendations he came across out of the web page. It is now and again perplexing to just happen to be releasing things that other folks could have been making money from. And now we consider we now have the writer to be grateful to for this. Those explanations you made, the easy blog menu, the friendships you will assist to engender – it is many awesome, and it’s really letting our son and us reckon that that concept is amusing, which is particularly pressing. Many thanks for everything!
