Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

BIG BROTHER: The Veto challenge to race when the board showed 13—and yet barely ever getting there—made it significantly less interesting? Let us see a race versus try to embarrass the contestants.

The Bayleigh-Da’Vonne-Christmas-Tyler drama was deeply, deeply, deeply uncomfortable. These people keep throwing around their alliances when they have clearly meant squat. Yeah, they’re still there, but they’re all backstabbing each other. Neither Bayleigh or Da’Vonne deserves to go home this week, and I’m really not looking forward to seeing the rest of the season play out at this point if there isn’t a major implosion with the ruling group.

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: Well, it’s a good group moving forward. Going to be a tough finale decision, and we only have half of the performers lined up so far.

LOVE ISLAND: Mercades does not feel like a real human. The Johnny of it all is so, so gross (and I’ll get to that in a second), but even outside of that, it’s like she’s a reality villain, cooked up in a lab. If Lauren was brought in to stir up drama, Mercades is that, but a lot more aggressive and with a lot less personality.

As for Johnny, well, I hope he doesn’t try to get back together with Cely at this point, because his behavior has not been okay. Yes, the point of Casa Amor is to test these relationships, and if he had found himself drawn to Mercades and they ended up coupling up, fine! And this wasn’t even the non-stop kissing the first night. It then continued in bed—in front of EVERYONE—and then the next day. And, yes, one of the kisses on day 2 was part of the competition, but, uh, no one is buying that. And Caleb tried to warn Johnny that Cely might actually be in love with him, and he’s still acting the way he’s acting. Again, if he found an instant real connection, fine. But they haven’t talked, so…
