THE GOLDBERGS Pays Homage to AIRPLANE!

THE GOLDBERGS is paying homage to AIRPLANE! when the eighth season kicks off…and the new key art is going all in on the classic film.

“The only thing crazier than having dinner with the Goldbergs is taking an airplane ride with the Goldbergs,” executive producer Doug Robinson teased of the episode during the show’s Comic-Con panel.

The comedy was one of the first to return back to production after the industry-wide COVID-19 shutdown, with series star Hayley Orrantia showcasing the steps the show was taking to keep everyone safe. (THE GOLDBERGS, which is set in 1980-something, won’t be able to incorporate the pandemic or masks into the show.)
