Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

THE GOLDBERGS: Erica utilizing her father to help her write the vows was sweet. But, uh, I can’t believe Barry is just realizing he can be a Whole Lot. I doubt this will change his behavior going forward, but at least his loved ones have said their bit.

CHICAGO MED: Crockett fully getting himself into a love triangle with a mother-daughter is going to be an absolute mess. Also, uh, Archer…how worried should we be about what he did to get those transplant organs?

Man, I do love Charles and Sharon’s friendship, though Cooper threatening her (especially in a restaurant!) was messed. up.

I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE: So, I don’t know this was actually a good premiere episode, but it was a good result. Having so many good singers almost feels like a trick; I still wish there was a way to have X amount of good singers so you know what you’re working with.

CHICAGO FIRE: I’m really torn about Stella’s explanation. I love Stella, I want good things for her, but the combination of her running away and cutting off her loved ones still hurts. You can say you need time so the people who love you don’t worry about you. And now she’s worried about Pelham? We know why TPTB has issues with him, so her now being suspicious feels like a retread of what we went through before Boden gave him the job. I hope this was just “first shift back” adjustments.

THE CONNERS: Oh my God, Darlene and Ben’s fighting was so, so uncomfortable. And Jackie is absolutely not going to handle Neville’s ex well at all…yikes.

NEXT LEVEL CHEF:  This was fun! I’m intrigued by the strategy for the head-to-head competition at the end, though, because in some ways wouldn’t it be best to put your BEST chef forward versus the weakest? It’s a risk, for sure, but in theory would give you the best chance to keep your team intact…

CHICAGO P.D.: Kim and Adam…do not deserve this. The Makayla thing was murky to begin with since it didn’t seem like they had taken real legal steps forward, but they had formed a little family. They’ve already lost a kid. Now they may have to lose another? This is going to break them, if so.

(Jay and Hailey revealing their marriage was as perfect as Tracy Spiridakos and Jesse Lee Soffer teased.)
