THE GOLDBERGS, BIG BROTHER, I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE

THE GOLDBERGS – “It’s All About Comptrol” – Geoff and Erica come to a point in the relationship where they realize they are in different places in college; and Geoff makes an important decision while Beverly tries to find a new purpose in her life as she seeks political office as the city comptroller, on an all-new episode of “The Goldbergs,” WEDNESDAY, OCT. 28 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EDT), on ABC. (ABC)

Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

THE MASKED SINGER: Uh, Wendy Williams’ performance was pretty uncomfortable to sit through. (And also obvious who she was.) Well, at least she was voted out.

THE GOLDBERGS: Bev. Doing. Janet. Oh my GOD. (Also that debate performance made my soul die a little.)

I really hope this living apart doesn’t hurt Geoff and Erica’s relationship. They’re so sweet together, and basically the only younger GOLDBERGS couple I have hope for at this point.

BIG BROTHER: Oh my God, Nicole losing her mind she was evicted was bonkers and also painful to watch. She stabbed Ian in the back, why should she be surprised Cody didn’t bring her along to the finals? Especially because it was clear he and Enzo are close. (And just think…this is how angry she was before she discovered she lost her endorsements for her actions that didn’t make the broadcast show.)

I was a bit surprised, but also really happy, that Cody brought Enzo to the final two. This was the most I’ve liked Cody all series, and it was clear Enzo was just delighted to get second/the $50k. (I was definitely surprised it was a unanimous vote for Cody to win, though, because some of partings—like the Kevin situation—were not comfortable.)

THE CONNERS: Wow, I loved the gumball machine costume, even if it absolutely seemed like a breathing hazard.

I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE: I do wish there was a set number of bad singers, because playing for different amounts of money makes the $100k gamble really different per game. Every person would have their own comfort level with risking the money they’ve won, but it feels like a real difference if you’re risking $20k versus $40k.
