SUPERSTORE may be unexpectedly ending this season, but the show’s world may not be finished yet: NBC is in early development on a spinoff centered around Cloud 9 (newly promoted) floor manager Cheyenne (Nichole Sakura) and her husband, Bo (Johnny Pemberton).

The series, tentatively titled BO & CHEYENNE, would follow the young married couple as they “balance their big dreams with the harsh realities of being a blue-collar family in America.” The potential series, which so far has a script ordered for the pilot, would be penned by SUPERSTORE co-executive producers Bridget Kyle and Vicky Luu. (SUPERSTORE creator Justin Spitzer would be a non-writing EP on the show, along with Ruben Fleischer and David Bernad.)

The on-screen couple have been the most consistent romance on SUPERSTORE, with Bo proposing to a pregnant Cheyenne in the pilot episode. (The duo married in season 2.) Sakura has been a regular on the NBC comedy for its entire run, with Pemberton recurring.

Deadline was first to report the potential spinoff.
