Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

CHICAGO MED: Oh, Will is going to cross a line with Dr. Virani and it’s going to blow up in his face.

The Anna situation resolved itself very, very fast; I figured she wouldn’t carry a baby to term, but I thought it would be longer for her father to find out the truth and for it to play out.

I do hope Maggie isn’t heading for a heartbreak…

RIVERDALE: Well, if there was a drinking game for every time “the accident” was said, congrats on reading this from the Great Beyond.

This, again, felt like a series premiere. Or a revival premiere, at least. I don’t blame the Riverdale people bolting given how cursed the town is, but this really feels like an endgame arc for the series.

With everyone so miserable apart, it’ll be interesting to see what it’s like when they’re really back together instead of the show having to reintroduce each character.

THE GOLDBERGS: It’s really crazy to realize we’re very rapidly reaching the point where all of the kids will be out of high school. I’m curious what the show might look like if it continues beyond this and Bev really loses control of her kids.

CHICAGO FIRE: I am so, so glad Stella and Severide finally had it out, because, oh boy, his protecting her was leading to more heartbreak than necessary for both of them. Now, if only Brett and Casey could have a similar talk so they could actually get on the same page… (For more on Brettsey, here’s what Jesse Spencer and Kara Killmer had to say.)

CHICAGO P.D.: Halstead’s decision to protect a murderer…is messy, at best. Look, he didn’t let him get away, and he went to Voight for guidance. But he gave him guidance. And, yes, it’s murky since the man’s son was killed. But with police reform at the forefront for the show, can this actually go by without consequence?
