THE MASKED SINGER is shaking things up with its upcoming fifth season, introducing “wildcard” contestants into the mix.

Season 5 will start off with two groups of five contestants (Groups A and B), with the “wildcard” contestants taking the stage at the end of the night with the chance to take out another performer in the group.

Fox also revealed the first clues about the season 5 contestants: they “boast a combined 26 Grammy nominations, nine multi-platinum singles, four Academy Award nominations, three Super Bowl appearances, six gold medals, and two world records.”

Season 5 will also have a temporary shift, as Niecy Nash is guest hosting the first batch of episodes while regular host Nick Cannon recovers from COVID-19.

Are you intrigued by the new shakeup to the show?
