“Incel” – The team must track down a murderous member of the incel community targeting those he believes never give him a chance. Also, Barnes, Hana, Ortiz and Kristin deal with their grief in the wake of Jess’ death, on the CBS Original series FBI: MOST WANTED, Tuesday, March 22 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*

Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

FBI: Honestly, I’m so thankful that FBI acknowledged Jess’ death. Yes, he was introduced there, and there have been crossovers, but I truly expected the extent of the universe acknowledging it to be Isobel popping up on MOST WANTED. I’m so glad Jubal checked in with Isobel about it, because he knew they were friends. This is exactly how an interwoven franchise should be functioning.

Speaking of Isobel…hard night for her. I’m glad we got more insight into her family life, but, man, she needs to catch a break one of these days.

JUDGE STEVE HARVEY: Every time I watch this show, I wonder how the hell these people keep relationships after going on a show like this. The husband and wife suing each other about bedtime?? (She was right.) The mom and daughter who were fighting over money? (Yikes to that mom.) Once you lose and are ordered to pay, how does your relationship recover?

FBI: INTERNATIONAL: I’m so curious if the show ends up playing the figurative “get out of jail free” card Jamie was given; it’s true, she (and the team) could certainly use it, but will it be something they play? And if so, will it be sooner (like this season) or later?

FBI: MOST WANTED: Well, that was somehow even more of an emotional gut-punch than Jess’ death? There were a lot of haunting little touches—the focus on Jess’ empty chair, them doing the debrief on the way to the scene rather than emulate Jess’ style in their HQ—but the team going to Jess’ old house and spending time with Sarah and Byron gutted me. Byron acknowledging Jess hated him toasting with water, but he wasn’t there any more…Terry O’Quinn is so damn good and that tiny moment was brutal. I’m so glad the show isn’t glossing over the massive impact this loss will have on both of Jess’ families for a very, very long time.

(Also, the reveal that Jubal and the FBI team went to Jess’ funeral? Fantastic world-building.)
