FBI, FBI: INTERNATIONAL, and FBI: MOST WANTED

“Bonne Terre” – When a federal judge and his wife are shot dead in New York, the Fugitive Task Force goes on the hunt and finds a connection to a man who is hours away from being executed in Missouri. Meanwhile, Remy and Hana both grapple with being single and living alone, on FBI: MOST WANTED, Tuesday, April 23 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

FBI: The Maggie and OA conversation was lovely and heartbreaking, but I wish we had more from/of Maggie. It’s an interesting parallel that Isobel went to both Scola and OA about their respective partners’ well-being; Scola, obviously, was interrupted (and asked in front of Tiff), while OA eventually conceded Maggie needed a break. How is Maggie going to take that? And will the break be enough to make her comfortable within her new normal? Or will she have to make other changes?

(But it was also really great to have Maggie and Scola briefly working together! Would love to see more of that.)

FBI: INTERNATIONAL: Oh, Tate’s ex was trash. There was an element of bittersweetness to Scott making sure to help given the news that broke just before the episode aired, but I love how the Fly Team always looks out for each other. And Raines went to back up Tate? Love it. Loving them, too.

FBI: MOST WANTED: Okay, this episode was UNNERVING. (I mean that in a positive way.) I was pretty sure they’d be able to stop the execution before it went through, but the show played with the tension so, so well.

I’m so curious about what the show does with Remy and Abby. We haven’t really got much from his romantic life this season—outside of those throwaway lines about Kristin in the premiere–and this could arguably be either the start of something or, uh, a celebration. But given how unmoored Remy appeared to be, it’ll be interesting to see if this is a relationship he tries to pursue.

Um, I have about a dozen questions about the random Michael Raymond-James of it all. Anyone else not sure if they should be worried for Hana? (Could also see him trying to poach her or temporarily joining the team. But…that scene was not there for no reason.)
