THE ROOKIE – “Hit and Run” – The team goes on a city-wide hunt for an individual who is threatening a mass casualty event. Meanwhile, Tim’s sister Genny shows up unannounced with some surprising news, and Lopez continues her inner struggle over Wesley’s deal with Elijah and tries to come up with a plan to get them out of it, on an all-new episode of “The Rookie,” SUNDAY, DEC. 5 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. TRU VALENTINO
THE ROOKIE’s Tru Valentino is sticking around: a rep for the show confirmed the actor has been made a series regular for the upcoming fifth season.
Valentino joined the ABC series in season 4 (in a recurring capacity) as Officer Aaron Thorsen, a man who was wrongfully accused of a crime and opted to join the LAPD in the aftermath. (It also led to a lot of attention for Thorsen, both from civilians and a reality camera crew.)
Deadline was first to announce the promotion.
