Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!

BIG BROTHER: I hope they all lose.

LEGO MASTERS: Okay, yes, this was an obvious homage to (the great) IS IT CAKE?, but that show is very different. You can dull or brighten up textures to more easily replicate items. It’s not easy to fake a TV or a chair. (Or a rug, really.)

But yikes to Christopher and Robert either getting a major villain edit or really acting like competition villains. There’s such a distinct difference in their actions compared to literally everyone else on the show right now. (Case in point, look at how many people came to help Sam and Neena with their rug.)

TRANSPLANT: I watched much of the start of the season in a binge, and what I kept wondering was what the writers’ intention was with Theo. As someone who loves the character, it was clear he was not himself…but he also harmed a patient, even unintentionally. And now, rather than let her vent and let it be, he’s reached out to her, ignoring a direct order and inevitably making the situation worse.

But he’s one of “our” guys, and there have certainly been times when writers make characters act/seem…not great…and don’t realize the ramifications of how actions will play out. I was really gratified when TRANSPLANT creator Joseph Kay told me they intentionally wanted to be in the gray zone for this storyline.

Ugh, and I’m worried about Mags. I know it sounds obvious, but collapsing like that is not good.
