KENNEDY CENTER HONORS Exclusive Clip: Rob Reiner Credits Billy Crystal with ‘the Funniest Line in All of Movie History’

On Wednesday, December 27 (at 9/8c), CBS will air THE 46TH ANNUAL KENNEDY CENTER HONORS, as Billy Crystal, Renée Fleming, Barry Gibb, Queen Latifah, and Dionne Warwick are celebrated. (Gloria Estefan returns as host.)

In an exclusive clip from the special, director Rob Reiner looks back on his frequent collaboration with Crystal, citing their work together in THE PRINCESS BRIDE and WHEN HARRY MET SALLY.

“Not only was he great as Harry Burns, but Bill wrote, what I believe, is maybe the funniest line in all of movie history: ‘I’ll have what she’s having,'” Reiner recalls of WHMS. “Said by my mother.”
