BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, GREY'S ANATOMY, A MILLION LITTLE THINGS

GREY’S ANATOMY – “Life on Mars?” – A wealthy inventor arrives at Grey Sloan and asks Koracick for help, while Meredith struggles to save a woman with diabetes who has been rationing her insulin. Jo and Link fight to save a young man who fell onto train tracks, and Jackson and Vic’s relationship hits a snag, on an all-new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, MARCH 12 (9:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE: Like Holt, I, too, am bummed that Wuntch is dead. Holt was at his most ridiculous when up against his former foe, and I loved that she planned one last trick…and he saw through it. And Rosa egging Holt on? Delightful.

(Also, how did it take that long for Jake to realize he should take all three kids? And how bad did that premiere go????)

And Jake and Amy are having a baby!! Very curious how the show handles that…another time jump to align with Melissa Fumero’s real pregnancy?

THE UNICORN: I loved the talk Wade had at the grave site with his wife. It felt like a great season-closing moment, but I also love that they took it a step forward and added a little figurative epilogue with his run-in with The Woman (AKA Natalie Zea), and their absolutely adorable dynamic. I don’t know how far the show will take their relationship in a potential season 2, but I’m really excited to see it play out. [For more on the finale from Walton Goggins.]

GREY’S ANATOMY: Cool, it’s been a week and I’m still pretty pissed at Alex Karev. Jo is not a trash person. I’m glad she’s still able to feel his love, but, yikes.

I’m really, really, really glad Link is the father of Amelia’s baby. Their dynamic has been one of the best things about this season, and I’m excited to see them go on this weird adventure together.

The Teddy of it all…oy. I’m not as mad as I thought I’d be, but this is going to be blow up in a real way. Now that Owen has made his commitment clear, will she spiral with guilt? Admit things? Wait until they’re, like, about to get married and have another GREY’S wedding go totally awry?

This Richard stuff is going to hurt, huh? And, uh, DeLuca…yikes.

MOM: Boy, that baby was freaking adorable. Part of me wishes we had gotten a little more time with Christy and Bonnie together since it was the 150th episode (!), but I did appreciate we got time with nearly all of the women. (Though, uh, Wendy hates babies?! I have so many questions.)

WILL & GRACE: The episode was fine? That sounds mean, but after some of the rougher episodes this season, I’ll take fine over the other option.

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS: Wow, this episode kind of destroyed me. I was hit-miss on the Jon dreams (really was only moved by Delilah’s sequence), but Theo’s King Tut speech? Rome talking about how it was nearly the anniversary of his death? My heart.

I’m really glad Sophie and Eddie reconciled. Sophie was absolutely, absolutely, absolutely justified to be heartbroken and destroyed by the reveal of the affair. But, man, I missed their friendship/family vibe.

I know this may not be popular, but I hope Gary does move on for a bit with Darcy. (And Maggie finds something that makes her happy, too.) With ensembles like this, when the not-married couple breaks up, it feels like there’s rarely room for them to be apart before shows have to shove them back together to justify why the group is still together. Let them grieve the breakup. Let Gary and Maggie find themselves and discover whether they want to be together again.
