NBC Orders ST. DENIS MEDICAL

NBC has picked up new medical comedy ST. DENIS MEDICAL to series.

According to NBC, “A mockumentary about an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity.”

The series stars Wendi McClendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Mekki Leeper and Kahyun Kim. It was co-created by Eric Ledgin and SUPERSTORE and AMERICAN AUTO boss Justin Spitzer.

While this series is a go, NBC has still yet to decide whether AMERICAN AUTO will return for a third season. (YOUNG ROCK and GRAND CREW were just canceled.)
