Big Brother: All Stars Recap

Did you catch last night’s Big Brother? As much as I hate to admit it, this show has already sucked me in. And that depsite the fact that I hate Julie Chen.

Go figure. GMMR’s friend Queen TV is back with a recap of last night’s kick-off to Big Brother: All Stars

The seventh edition of Big Brother is officially underway. All 14 houseguests were correctly revealed in the audio leak from earlier in the week. Speculation is that CBS had a hand in the leak in order to create some early buzz. At this point I would certainly hope that is the case since these flubs are happening quite frequently.

One thing that was actually surprising was both the Head of Household (HOH) competition and nominations were revealed on tonight’s premiere broadcast. Usually Big Brother drags out the first nominations and eviction for a couple of weeks but its nice to know they are getting right to business. Janelle and Jase won Co-Head of Household which seems to be a permanent twist at least for the early weeks. Janelle and Jase had to agree on the nominations or else they would both be put up for elimination. Danielle and Alison were the two that tried to convince Jase to disagree with Janelle in order to get Janelle out of the house. That plan back fired as Danielle and Alison were put on the block.

The Power of Veto competition and ceremony will likely be held over the weekend as well as any food or luxury competitions. Check back to Queen TV for the latest on competition spoilers, voting/alliance talk or anything juicy that may happen on the live feeds because until CBS shows it, they are all spoilers!

GMMR’s Two Cents…
I was shocked at how quickly the scheming got underway. If one guy whispers to another that his fly is down, people are assume they are forming an alliance. It’s kind of crazy. To be honest with you, it’s a little stressful to watch. I can’t imagine being in that environment, because there is no one to trust.

I was glad that psycho Allison is up for eviction this week. I hope she’s the first to go. I hater her when she was on Big Brother the first time. I hated her even more when she and ex-boyfriend, Donny, appeared on The Amazing Race. And after one episode I already want to drown her in the BB 7 pool.

I’m not sure if you could put a more obnoxious group of people in the same house. Seriously, with the exception of Nakomis, they all seem 5 year olds. I’m including Chicken George in this group too. Sorry buddy, you may be the oldest, but your bright-eyed, ‘oh I’m just so happy to be here’ routine is grating. At least I won’t have to worry about you for too long, because I’m sure you have a might big target on your back.

With all these “personalities” sharing the same space, there is definitely going to be some major throw-downs, and I can’t wait. Marcellas walked into the house with his signature ‘tude, and that diva is going to bitch slap anyone that gets in his way. Yup, I love him. The house would not have been the same without him. But my early favorite? I’m going to have to go with James. I know, I know, most people hate him, but there’s just something about him.

Thanks again to Queen TV for helping out Give Me My Remote with our converage of BB. She is going to be letting you GMMRers what’s going on when we are not watching. She’s got access to the Big Brother live feeds and she isn’t afraid to watch them. I on the other hand would probably never leave my house.

So are you guys watching Big Brother: All Stars? Have any early favorites?

As always you can chit chat about all things Big Brother in the GMMR forums. Click here to head over there. I’ll even start you off with a subject: Mike Boogie will bring up his friendship with Ashton Kutcher at least once to get in the pants of some girl. Discuss.

I, too, love James. I can’t help it. However, it does not diminish my undying forever love of Dr. Will. I was so surprised that America didn’t vote him on. I guess my 140 or so votes weren’t enough. Hee.

I have a feeling this is going to be a very stressful summer for those folks in the house, for sure.

I love James and Howie. It’s kind of hard not to love Howie. No offense Carrie, but I HATE Will already. He’s a hypocrite for saying that Kaysar is “cocky” and “arrogant” for no reason. Has he heard himself speak? It’s all about how wonderful and gorgeous he is!
