CASTLE ROCK Team Teases Bringing (New) MISERY Into Season 2

CASTLE ROCK returns for its second installment on Wednesday, October 23 (with the first three episodes dropping at once on Hulu), and the series feels very, very different.

While season 1 relied on the location and a few key characters from the Castle Rock history, the primary story was a mystery told through original characters. In season 2, the series is centered on an iconic Stephen King character: Annie Wilkes (played here by Lizzy Caplan), in her pre-MISERY days.

The Friday the 13th thrills continue with a new teaser from the latest chapter of CASTLE ROCK.

In the second installment of the anthology series, Lizzy Caplan stars as Stephen King’s infamous Annie Wilkes, in a pre-MISERY tale. CASTLE ROCK will return with its second installment on Wednesday, October 23.

Hulu announced the news via a cheeky Instagram teaser, which noted “Misery arrives October 23.” (The second season follows a pre-MISERY Annie Wilkes, played by MASTERS OF SEX’s Lizzy Caplan.)

Hulu has revealed CASTLE ROCK’s season 2 theme and a gaggle of new cast members.
