FRIENDS is coming to Netflix on January 1, 2015 (in the US and Canada) — which is the first time the comedy has streamed anywhere (in full) legally — and to celebrate things, the streaming site made a video of the Rembrandts singing the theme song in the New York City pop-up Central Perk…with a familiar face…

Glorious, right?

Today is FRIENDS’ 20th birthday, and Warner Bros. UK has crafted a 236-second recap of the series (one second for every episode of the show), and it is simultaneously funny and really odd. (There are a TON of things missing, including any of the weddings.)

But any FRIENDS is good FRIENDS, so in case you’re missing the show today…

FRIENDS: TBS to Air 20-Episode Marathon to Celebrate the Show’s 20th Anniversary

friends-thumbFRIENDS is turning 20 on Monday, September 22nd, and to celebrate the occasion, TBS is airing a 20-episode marathon (from 10 AM-8 PM) that will consist of episodes that fans have voted in. (You can vote via Facebook (www.facebook.com/TBSveryfunny) and Twitter (twitter.com/tbsveryfunny) using #FavoriteFriends.)

It’s no secret I love FRIENDS, and this announcement got me thinking about what my perfect FRIENDS 20-episode marathon would look like — I think my marathon would have to consist of “The One with the Prom Video,” “The One with the Embryos,” “The One That Could Have Been” (parts 1&2), and about half of the Thanksgiving episodes (especially “The One Where Ross Got High” and “The One with the Rumor”), and any odd mix of various other episodes.

But I’m curious…what episode(s) is must-have on your perfect FRIENDS marathon? And will you be voting for it to be included in the TBS marathon?

Oh. My. God.

We’re about a month away from the 20th anniversary of FRIENDS’ debut, and JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE may have given FRIENDS fans the closest thing to a reunion as we’re going to get: he hosted a reunion of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow on his show Wednesday night.

Aniston was the official guest, and Kimmel told her he had written some FRIENDS fan-fic he wanted her help acting out. Cut to a recreation of Monica and Chandler’s apartment (which Rachel lived in for half of the series), and surprise guests Cox and Kudrow.

Miss KIMMEL? Check out the amazing clip now…

FRIENDS Poll: Were Ross and Rachel on a Break?

16 years (and one day) ago, FRIENDS’ Rachel uttered words she’d soon come to regret to Ross, her boyfriend of a year: “Maybe we should take a break.” He, at first, thought they should get some froyo, but she quickly clarified, “No. A break from us.”

And things were never quite the same for the duo again.

GO ON Stages a FRIENDS Reunion: Courteney Cox to Guest Star

Comments Off on GO ON Stages a FRIENDS Reunion: Courteney Cox to Guest Star

The FRIENDS cast hasn’t been shy about hosting their own mini-reunions on the shows they’ve starred on since the NBC comedy went off the air in 2004, but this particular reunion has me incredibly excited: an NBC rep confirms that Courteney Cox will guest star on an upcoming episode of her former TV hubby Matthew Perry’s new series, GO ON. (And if you’re not watching GO ON, why not? It’s a lovely show you should be checking out.)

According to The Hollywood Reporter (who was first to break the casting), the duo will once again be potentially romantically matched when one of Ryan’s (Perry) group mates tries to set him up with Cox’s character. The episode is set to air in April.

Um, so I’m excited about this…how about you?
