FRIENDS: TBS to Air 20-Episode Marathon to Celebrate the Show’s 20th Anniversary

September 17, 2014 by

friends-thumbFRIENDS is turning 20 on Monday, September 22nd, and to celebrate the occasion, TBS is airing a 20-episode marathon (from 10 AM-8 PM) that will consist of episodes that fans have voted in. (You can vote via Facebook ( and Twitter ( using #FavoriteFriends.)

It’s no secret I love FRIENDS, and this announcement got me thinking about what my perfect FRIENDS 20-episode marathon would look like — I think my marathon would have to consist of “The One with the Prom Video,” “The One with the Embryos,” “The One That Could Have Been” (parts 1&2), and about half of the Thanksgiving episodes (especially “The One Where Ross Got High” and “The One with the Rumor”), and any odd mix of various other episodes.

But I’m curious…what episode(s) is must-have on your perfect FRIENDS marathon? And will you be voting for it to be included in the TBS marathon?

Definitely have to include The One Where Rachel Finds Out and The One Where Ross Finds Out. Also, would add in The One in Vegas, The One with Monica & Chandler’s Wedding, and The One with the Red Sweater…. actually there are so many good ones!

Ooh, yes. To all of those. (Though I’m a little more fond of TOW Ross Finds Out vs. TOW Rachel Finds out, if only because Rachel’s drunk message and Ross’ “You’re over me? When were you…under me?” are so epic. But Chandler’s frantic “crystal duck!” is great too.)

Argh. All of them. Just give me all of the episodes.
