THE FLASH and ARROW have been loosely tied together since Barry Allen debuted on ARROW a year ago, but this week, the dramas embark on a full-on crossover as Team Arrow visits THE FLASH in “Flash vs. Arrow,” while Team Flash pops over on ARROW during “The Brave and the Bold.”

“The best thing you can do is it’s not just a gimmick,” ARROW/THE FLASH executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told reporters earlier this season. “[These crossovers are] also advancing the storylines that we’ve been telling and your characters really grow…both of these crossovers, they’re not just about the crossovers of the cast — they are really important episodes for what Barry has been going through, and what Oliver’s going through. We have one of the biggest surprises of ARROW of all time on THE FLASH episode [of the crossover]. And both episodes are really important for Barry’s growth.”

“It was fun to have the dynamic back from when I was [first] on ARROW a year ago,” THE FLASH star Grant Gustin (Barry) added. “That was when I met Barry, and he was so fun and awkward, and the dynamic between him and Oliver was so fun. And we got to recreate that. And it’s evolved. It’s really different than anything else on the show, which is nice.”

For more on the crossover, Gustin and ARROW star Stephen Amell (Oliver) teased a few more secrets while speaking with reporters on the shows’ Vancouver sets…

On the show’s Vancouver set, Stephen Amell (Oliver) and John Barrowman (Malcolm) previewed what’s in store…

At Comic-Con, ARROW star Stephen Amell (Oliver) talked with reporters about the new faces to come, how Tommy pops will appear via flashback, and more…

Comments Off on THE FLASH: ARROW’s Stephen Amell to Appear in the Pilot

THE FLASH isn’t wasting any time bringing people from ARROW on board: ARROW star Stephen Amell (Oliver) will appear in THE FLASH’s pilot.

Amell actually appears in THE FLASH’s extended trailer (starting at 3:55), but a rep for the shows confirms it’s not just a scene for the trailer to tie the shows together — it will appear in THE FLASH’s first official episode.

Are you excited to see Oliver and Barry share more screentime together?

As ARROW’s Oliver Queen has had his world fall apart (thanks to Slade’s increasingly devious moves), his off-on love, Laurel, has rebounded nicely after hitting her own rock bottom — and now that Laurel has revealed to Oliver that she knows he’s also the Arrow, she has positioned herself to help him take down Slade, too.

To get a tease about what’s to come, I spoke with Katie Cassidy (Laurel) about the huge episodes coming up, getting to do a bit of action work, Laurel’s love for Oliver, and more…

On ARROW, Felicity and Oliver may be spending their time with others right now (Felicity has a bit of a flirtation going on with soon-to-be-Flash, Barry; Oliver has hooked up with Isabel), but a vocal portion of fans are still rooting for the duo to find their way to each other.

I recently sat down with ARROW star Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity) and she dished a little bit about where she feels Felicity is in terms of her relationship with Oliver…

Comments Off on ARROW: Stephen Amell on the ‘Meaner’ Season 2 Fights, Oliver as a CEO, ‘Identity,’ and More

Oliver Queen is going through a few transitions in ARROW’s second season, and it’s making him alter how he approaches his work-life, and his life as the man formerly known as The Hood.

First up, Oliver has made the decision to no longer shoot-to-kill on his Hood-related quests, but as ARROW star Stephen Amell (Oliver) points out in the video below, that comes with its own set of complicated — and dangerous — consequences. Additionally, Oliver is actually working for the first real time in his life, which means he’ll have obligations and responsibilities he has yet to deal with before.

So how is Oliver handling that? Take a look at what Amell had to say to reporters on the show’s Vancouver set, plus his teases about this week’s brand new episode, “Identity”…

While we’ve already given you a ton of teases about what’s to come, how about a little more, courtesy of ARROW executive producer Andrew Kreisberg? ARROW ended its first season with a crushing blow (Tommy’s death), and when season two picks up, viewers will find Oliver in a familiar place — back on the island, but in present day.

On the Vancouver set of ARROW, series star Stephen Amell sat down with reporters to talk about Oliver’s decision, post-tragedy, to go back to the place where he felt the most comfortable, how working with Diggle and Felicity has changed Oliver for the better, the debut of Summer Glau’s Isabel Rochev, and more…

The Cast and Producer of ARROW Tease ‘Unfinished Business’

Tonight’s ARROW is a pretty freaking big hour of television: in addition to the return of Seth Gabel’s The Count (who, during his last stint on the show, was the manufacturer of the drug, Vertigo…AKA the drug Thea was on when she wrecked her car), there’s the question of whether Tommy is up to some shady dealings, and in the flashbacks, Oliver begins his training with Shado.

But you’d like a few more teases about what goes down, wouldn’t you? Before this weekend’s WonderCon panel for the show, ARROW executive producer Marc Guggenheim and series stars Stephen Amell (Oliver), Colin Donnell (Tommy), Willa Holland (Thea), and Paul Blackthorne (Detective Lance) previewed what fans can expect from tonight’s brand new episode…

Comments Off on ARROW at PaleyFest: Stephen Amell on Tommy Learning the Truth, Sarah Possibly Being Alive

After ARROW’s Oliver Queen worked so hard to keep his hooded alter ego a secret from those closest to him — the only people who know the truth are Diggle and Felicity, both of whom came into his life post-island — his hand was forced in the last episode when he revealed to his long-time best friend, Tommy, that he was really The Hood.

But that doesn’t mean Oliver is exactly thrilled about what went down.

I spoke with ARROW star Stephen Amell (Oliver) before the PaleyFest panel honoring his series about what comes next for the two friends, plus what Sarah Lance potentially being alive would do to Oliver’s mindset…

ARROW is finally back!

The most addictive show to come out of the fall 2012 season took a break for the holidays, and based on the teases ARROW executive producer Andrew Kreisberg shared during out chat, it seems like it hits the ground running with tonight’s brand new episode.
