THE PENGUIN: Max Shares New Teaser of Colin Farrell-Led Series

Max has released a new teaser for its upcoming series THE PENGUIN, which will bow this fall.

Details about the series are scarce, though the stream notes “the eight-episode DC Studios drama series continues The Batman epic crime saga that filmmaker Matt Reeves began with Warner Bros. Pictures’ global blockbuster THE BATMAN and centers on the character played by [Colin] Farrell in the film.” The show also stars Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown, and Michael Zegen. THE PENGUIN: Max Releases First Look at Colin Farrell-Led Series

Max—the streaming platform formerly known as HBO Max—has released the first footage from its upcoming THE PENGUIN series.

The series, which features Colin Farrell reprising his role from THE BATMAN, was ordered straight to series in 2022.

“The world that Matt Reeves created for THE BATMAN is one that warrants a deeper gaze through the eyes of Oswald Cobblepot,” Farrell said at the time. “I couldn’t be more excited about continuing this exploration of Oz as he rises through the darkened ranks to become The Penguin. Will be good to get him back on the streets of Gotham for a little madness and a little mayhem.”
