Justin Timberlake and Robyn Troup – My Grammy Moment

February 12, 2007 by

Even if you didn’t watch last night’s Grammy Awards you probably heard about “My Grammy Moment”, a contest that had every day peeps getting their shot to perform with Justin Timberlake at the Grammy’s. Last night on LIVE television the winner was revealed and she immediately took the stage to perform.

Well Ms. Robyn Troup, I don’t know much about you, but YOU were the best part of the Grammy’s last night for me. Now I’m not saying that Robyn and JT’s performance was the best of the night, but as far as the best moment…well that one takes the cake. As I was watching Robyn on stage (working it hard core while sounding fantastic) I couldn’t help but think was a surreal moment that must have been for her. Performing live on the Grammy’s with Justin?! She was still singing and I was contemplating how many record executives were going to approach her directly after the show. Ok, and I was also hoping she wouldn’t have a wardrobe malfunction in that mini-dress she was wearing. Best of luck to you Robyn…I hope you make it big – only because it would be a great story to tell the grandkids.

Check our Justin Timberlake and Robyn Troup performing “My Love” last night.

That was awesome – I missed it last night, but WOW the girl can sing even though she was probably really nervous.

That certianly was exciting. My suitemate at my dorm is good friends with Robyn and was trying to get everyone to vote for her. We all watched and screamed for a couple minutes straight when she won. Once we calmed down we saw what a great performace she gave. Even if that dress was a little short (she could totally pull it off though)! I’m so excited and I know she deserves all the success she’s going to be getting from this. Plus she’s from my hometown! I think we can all be expecting some great things from her.

She was really good. I missed it live, but she really pulled it off. That was my dream a few years back, to perform with Justin Timberlake, so that’s awesome that she got too, hehe…

Here, here! Robyn was awesome! I saw her and the other two contestants on the Ellen DeGeneres Show a few days before the Grammys, and I liked Robyn the best then, so I was glad when she won last night. I only half-heartedly watched part of the Grammys, but when Robyn and Justin started their duet, they got my full attention. That girl worked it out…she sang like a pro and she looked HOTT…Justin’s none too shabby either. I’m happy for her and wish her luck, although she’s probably not going to need much luck after a performance like that!
