Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Happy 500th episode, THE VOICE! I am absolutely obsessed with that cake, because oh my God?? The tiny chairs!!

It was a good group of contestants, but I’m with the coaches—I can’t believe Hailey Mia is only 13.

QUEENS: I enjoyed episode 2, but also very curious how much this jumping through time will be an early-series thing or if this is the format going forward. (I hope it’s just for the start, but we’ll see how they implement it.)

Brandy sounded incredible singing “Wrecking Ball,” but I do wish it had been a little bit less produced…just let us hear her incredible voice (and it being paired with her on-screen daughter’s piano playing).

NEW AMSTERDAM: I love Dr. Wilder, and I do hope she stays…but I wonder what role there will be when Helen and Max inevitably don’t leave the hospital. (Which, again, not a spoiler, but it’s a TV show, so…)

It’s always lovely seeing Timothy Omundson on my screen; very glad to see him here.

I know this seems minor, but I loved the final Max and Helen scene where they just…talked. Obviously plot is important to television, but, man, it’s absolutely refreshing to get scenes where you really dig into characters.
