One of my very favorite bloggers/writers/actresses is back!!  Mindy Kaling’s blog, Things I Bought That I Love had been out of commission since April…April!!  Everyday I would religiously check her site in the hopes that maybe, just maybe there would be a post other than “London Sole” to satisfy my senses.  But today, the site is back!  Well, technically it was back on October 12th, but I just found out about it today (thank you GMMR reader Omelteville)!

The site is new and improved and much more visually suited to Mindy’s aesthetic. It’s pink, girly and all kinds of fun.

Mindy blames the hiatus from her blog on this little show called THE OFFICE.  Which I guess if you’re going to offer me any excuse, that would be the one to offer up. Mindy also mentioned that there wasn’t an urgency to return to the blog as she thought no one was really reading it.  How wrong you were.  But really, who cares why she was gone…she’s back!  I’m too excited.

    Oh. my. GOD.
    That’s so exciting!!!!! And crazy. And I can barely believe it!!!
    And now I feel crappy that last week I took a drastic measure and DELETED her brilliant blog from my regular rotation. I had lost all hope that her hilarity would ever return….. AAARRRRHHHHHGGGG.
    So thanks for letting me know it hasn’t disappeared into oblivion :):):):) Yay!

    Thanks for mentioning it! With the comp problems, all my bookmarks are gone and I liked checking in with Mindy’s shopping habits, because it was nice knowing someone elses is worse than mine! I know what I’ll be doing when I get home 🙂
