PREVIOUS POST

It’s after midnight here on the West Coast, but I just now was able to watch the BIG BROTHER finale. In case you missed it, here’s the long and the short of what went down (ok, forget long, it’s real short).

The final HOH competition of the season came down to Kevin and Jordan. The comp ended with a tie, leaving the two of them to battle it out by guessing the total number of eviction votes cast in the game this season.  Kevin guessed 80 and Jordan guessed 50. With the correct answer being 51, Jordan became the final HOH winner of the summer and guaranteed herself a spot in the finale.

It was up to her to decide who she took with her.  Who she thought she had the best chance again in the finale. She be be rewarding that person at least $50k, but all for a shot at the $500k grand prize.

With the final vote, Jordan decided to evict Kevin from the BIG BROTHER house. She took her chances up against Natalie for the jury votes.

So just how did the jury vote? And who walked away the big winner? Keep reading after the jump (I don’t want to spoil anyone.)

In a final vote of 5-2, the winner of BIG BROTHER Season 11 is…

JORDAN LLOYD!

CONGRATS JORDO! I couldn’t be more thrilled that she won. After seeing the jury footage I was hoping she would take Natalie because I think the jury had turned against her.  But I really wanted Kevin to win the $50k.  Oh well.  All in the name of a good competition I guess.

Here’s how the votes broken down…

Team Natalie: Kevin & Russell

Team Jordan: Jesse (YUP!), Lydia, Jeff, Michelle, America (that’s right!)

An elated Jordan left the BIG BROTHER house for the first time in months and embraced her mother and brother who were waiting outside for her.  When asked, the always sweet and thoughtful Jordan said that she hoped to use her winnings to put a down payment on a house for her mother (their house was lost to foreclosure earlier this year). She also mentioned trying to help an aunt with some college money for her kids.  And she might buy a car.  And don’t forget about getting Jeff those Bears season tickets.

Speaking of Jeff, he walked away with the $25k award for being America’s favorite houseguest.  Yes he was!

Congrats Jordan and Jeff for defying the odds and winning it all! (Yeah, congrats to you too, Gnatalie!)

So sweet to see Nastahlie’s face when Jesse voted for Jordough.
She better be careful with that money, though. After taxes, it won’t amount to much more than some house payments.

WOO HOOO Jordo!!!! I was so excited to see her win. After watching the first hour and jury house I knew that she had to take Gnat to the final two in order to win. I just wish Gnat didn’t get the $50,000. That girl doesn’t deserve a dime.

I think it was smart of Jordan to bring up the $10,000 Kevin had already won. While she isn’t the most eloquent speaker she did talk from her heart and brought up a few good points in her final two speech. I think if she would have pointed out the fact that she won more comps (I know she tried but she should have plainly said it) she might have gotten Russell’s vote too. Though it didn’t matter at all hee!

I bet Gnat is CRUSHED that Jesse didn’t vote for her. Does anyone know exactly why he turned on her? He didn’t like her, like her did he? I am so happy that dude will no longer be on my TV!

Did you see Kevin after he found out about the age thing? He looked mad enough to change his vote haha!

So I’m guessing I’m not the only one who saw the Chenbot ask Jeff if he was going to take Jordo to Hawaii at the end of the show. LOVE!! I told my husband I wanted Jeff to take Jordan to Hawaii and for them to get married and make beautiful babies 🙂

Is it weird that every time I see a three word phrase like “Yes she did” or in this case “Yes he was,” I hear Mary Murphy? 🙂

So glad Jordan pulled out the win! I definitely think it was smart to take Natalie over Kevin to the end, although if I had my druthers, Kevin would have won the 50K. Not the ideal end of the season, but one I’m happy with nonetheless. Now if only I could get back all the time I spent watching Big Brother this summer… Funny I feel that way at the end of every season yet somehow I always end up watching the next year!

Jordan won I’m ok with that. But frankly I was pretty disappointed by the final 2. I mean we had the two players that road coattails the most and they both admitted it and were some what proud of it. Jordan got LUCKY and they only reason she won was because she won the last HOH. Kevin would have beaten her and Nat would have taken Kevin.

I’m hoping they have another All-Stars soon. I would love to see people like Michelle, Russell and Jeff in the house with the like of a Janelle, Eric and others. That would be fun.

I am happy with Jordan talking home the money. I’ll admit to being 30 of those 11M voters.

As for the coat tail riders being the final two? Isn’t that what this game is all about? At least Jordan won some stuff at the end when she needed to but the fact that these two did almost NOTHING until the last few weeks of the game? Perfect. All the strong physical players are out and it’s really who can out think the others. I love it.

I am one of the mushy peeps that would love to see Jeff and Jordo make a go of it. Do I think they will? Not really. But they made it easy for me to watch BB11 this summer.

Jordan, in my opinion, although maybe “nice” seemed to be pretty much an airhead. very childlike & I don’t think would have ever made it to the end had it not been for Jeff being fixated on her rather large and usually half exposed boobs. she seemed to have NO strategy and just sat back expecting Jeff to pull her weight throughout most of the game. I think she only won because nobody wanted to give it to conniving Natalie. – who at least I give credit for strategizing – not just sitting back twirling her hair while somebody else saved her ass thru most of the game.
