Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Tuesday, February 2, 2010

Welcome to Tuesday. But not just any Tuesday. Tuesday, February 2nd – better know around TV land as the season premiere of LOST.  Can you stand it?  I’m excited, anxious, bewildered – just a whole range of emotions.  The season premiere of the final season of LOST. Wow!

For most TV fans this trumps just about everything else on the Tuesday night schedule.  But I know not everyone is down with the mysteries of the island, so for you, let me share a few other highlights from tonight’s TV lineup.

A series recap focuses on the crash of Oceanic Flight 815, the mysteries of the island and its inhabitants, the survivors who returned to the U.S. (the Oceanic 6), the island’s violent time shifts and the H-bomb detonation in May 2009’s Season 5 finale. The hour reviews questions that have been answered and explores those that haven’t

Lost | 9pm on ABC | 2-hour Season Premiere
“LA X”
The sixth and final season begins in the aftermath of the H-bomb detonation, as the survivors learn “when” they are. [GMMR: That’s all they’re giving us for a season premiere synopsis and that’s perfectly fine with me. I’ve avoid promos, spoilers, new footage – everything. Other than some special guest stars popping up tonight, I’m going into tonight’s premiere completely untainted.]

American Idol | 8pm on Fox
“Dever Auditions”
Auditions continue as hopefuls perform for the judges in Denver; Victoria Beckham is back to serve as a guest judge.

The Biggest Loser | 9pm on NBC
“Football
The blue and yellow teams return; a contestant is sidelined with medical issues during a vigorous football challenge; the contestants receive exciting news.

NCIS | 8pm on CBS
“Masquerade”
The team has to work quickly when terrorists threaten to detonate a dirty bomb in Washington, D.C

NCIS: Los Angeles | 9pm on CBS
“LD50”
A crime scene poses a security risk when the team discovers the location was used to create a deadly toxin that is now missing.

The Good Wife | 10pm on CBS
“Bad”
Peter’s appeal trial begins; Alicia defends a wealthy client whose innocence she doubts; a felon Diana successfully prosecuted is about to be released from prison.

White Collar | 10pm on USA
“Vital Signs”
Neal stumbles on a scheme to harvest human organs; Neal and Peter come up with a plan to get the ringleader to expose his crimes.
