Charice Joins GLEE for Season 2

Rachel Berry, watch your back.
FOX has confirmed to GIVE ME MY REMOTE that Charice — Oprah’s favorite teenage singing sensation — will join GLEE in a recurring role as a foreign exchange student this fall.
There were rumors earlier in the month that she had landed a part on the FOX series, but Charice immediately shot them down via Twitter. But now, things have changed. “When d rumor came out, it wasn’t true,” she tweeted. “But then after that…I tried to audition. And i made it!!! Let’s Party!!!!”

I adore Glee, but the cast is already so big that we don’t get enough screentime for fan faves with smaller parts (like Puck and Santana). I worry about adding even more characters. But I love the show, so I’ll try to have faith in their casting decisions. Can’t wait for more Glee!

I don’t really watch Glee, but now that Charice is on it, I’m gonna watch every episode that she’s in. Yay!
Me too. I never watch Glees whole episode even once. I have seen few scenes and it reminds me of Fame series then. I don´t find Glee better than Fame. In my opinion there truly few artists who have the talent in Glee than Fame. And their format for me is weak compare to Fame. But now I have to force myself to watch it because of Charice. I´ll watch only her episodes. Otherwise I will not miss that much.
Glee is making the classic season 2 mistake of adding way too many characters. I’m having flashbacks to the summer after Hero’s first season when they added like 10 new characters to season two. I stopped watch Heros because of it. Hopefully Glee won’t suffer the same fate.

I can say that charice is really the best talent on that show. Youre thinking that they shouldnt add cast but they need to make some changes to the show a little spicy to make people liked it better, charice is really a good contribution to the show i can guarantee that to you guys, I watched her in paris and she is really amazing.

I have never watched Glee before, but with Charice on it, I’ll definitely watch this show. This girl is phenomenal. She alway gives her greatest in every performance. And she’s humble. That’s what I like in her.
I never watch glee, i used to skip and go to bed…cuz i work so early., but now charice joining the cast. I will!
I’ve only previously watched 3 random episodes of Glee. Never got into it. However, now that this musical phenom Charice is on the show…I will be watching all the episodes religiously. Can’t wait for this girl to show us her epic singing pipes.

I agree with way too many characters 1s comment – plus next season, kurt is getting a bf, mercedes is getting a bf, there is going to be a christian fundamentalist student…too much of a good thing just ain’t…plus Glee had uneven epi’s, hope it is not a one season wonder

i’ve never heard of the show glee until i heard the news that charese will be in it. now that she will be part of the show, i will definitely watch it! she’s an AMAZING singer. She will be one of the biggest star to hit the u.s. from the philippines! ain’t it great!
charice is an amazing singer but i really want to see more of the other characters, like brittany, mike, and matt.
i also think that being a part of glee added another weight on charice’s head.

i don’t watch glee, but now i couldn’t wait to see the glee 2nd season only because of CHARICE. I even upgrade my subcription with OSNetwork and pay additional USD 45 just to watch glee.
