SUPERNATURAL: Andrew Dabb Teases Episode 300

July 22, 2018 by

SUPERNATURAL is reaching its milestone 300th episode in its upcoming 14th season. During Sunday’s Comic-Con panel, executive producer Robert Singer revealed he’d be directing it, but claimed he knew nothing about its plot. (He joked fellow executive producer Andrew Dabb was keeping it from him.)

In the press room after the panel, Dabb was more open about where they are thinking of going with the episode. “The 100th episode was very much a straight-up episode of SUPERNATURAL,” Dabb explained to reporters.  “The 200th went very much in the other direction, where it was very meta…I think for the 300th, we want to do something that lies in the middle.”

While there’s still a bit of time before the writers get there—it’ll be the 13th episode of the season—”the idea that’s floating around now is that Sam and Dean, for years, have lived in the bunker, in a place called Lebanon, Kansas, which is a real town,” he continued. “We’ve never seen Lebanon, Kansas in the show. We’ve never seen what the people in the town think of two guys who drive this muscle car through…so it becomes how do these people view Sam and Dean.” (Dabb made it clear there would also be a Sam and Dean storyline in the episode.)
