Give Me My Remote

Let’s grab that remote and see what is happening in the TV world….

There’s so much TCA (Television Critics Association) gossip going around that I can hardly keep up. If you want the latest and greatest, check out my favorite “legit” TV reporters Maureen Ryan, Kristin Veitch, & Michael Ausiello. It’s my dream of dreams to be live-blogging along side these people next year.

NBC is offering Netflix subscribers the chance to check out some of their hot fall shows, including Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Kidnapped starting in early August. With so many pilots being “leaked” online, and the studios making their pilots available a month before the actually air, I’m interested in the impact on the ratings. This is a whole new ballgame. Oh where, oh where have all the Camdens gone? Well, I actually hoped and prayed that we would never have to see any of those 7th Heaven-ers again, but they had the power of God on their side. I can’t compete with that. Who is coming back to entertain the red states, and who is not? (Dlisted)

*****************************

I was heading out to lunch yesterday when Ducky called me to say that he ran into Stephen Colletti. Now that is what I call a nice day. (DuckyxDale)

Love ’em or hate ’em, Rob and Amber aren’t going anywhere. The reality show stars are coming back to TV in “The Rob and Amber Project”. You know what? Amber (or Ambah as she’s know around these parts) I can leave or take, but Boston Rob…I don’t know…there’s something about him that intrigues me. Could be the Red Sox cap…who knows. (Variety)

I haven’t been posting as much as I would like lately, especially in light of all the news that is coming from the TCA press tour. But I am here…and I have some good stuff to share, so keep checking back throughout the day for more TV goodness including…

  • Pics of your favorite CW dudes and dudettes from this week’s red carpet bash
  • News on why Lost could get lost if you don’t pay attention
  • A recap of the latest and greatest happenings in Neptune, because really, it’s been too long since we’ve chatted about Veronica Mars

Oh and for fans of The Office, I got ALL your emails, and found some time to pull together a few of the t-shirt designs you requested. Here you go… Team Halpert, Scrantonicity World Tour, Dinkin’ Flicka, That’s What She Said

There’s also some new GMMR stuff in there, not that I expect that any of you would want it, but what the hell, right?

That’s cool news about NetFlix. Another reason everyone should sign up. It amazes me that Blockbuster hasn’t gone bankrupt yet.

I could never do Netflix…there’s just not enough time in the day. I watch WAY too much TV as it is.

LOL. I’ve been popping in the UK Office and watching while I run on the treadmill.
