THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM Spoof on Jimmy Kimmel

August 3, 2007 by

Jimmy Kimmel seems to be getting my attention today.  If you are a frequent watcher of Jimmy Kimmel then you know that he often ends his show by saying “Our apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time“.  Last September after a segment highlighting the running gag and a lengthy introduction by Kimmel, Matt Damon appeared on the show, only to be turned away by Kimmel. Damon flipped out and the censors earned their money with the bleeps.

Jimmy’s joke continued when the show’s parking lot security guard, Guillermo, was sent to do red carpet interviews for the premiere of “Ocean’s 13”.  He spent all night on the carpet and when Damon approached him to be interviewed he “ran out of time” (watch clip here).  If you watched this year’s MTV Movie Awards then you might have heard host (and Kimmel’s girlfriend) Sarah Silverman end the show with her apologies to Matt Damon for running out of time.  Good stuff all around.

But this is FANTASTIC!!  Kimmel and Guillermo managed to bump Damon even from his own movie trailer.  Check out hysterical trailer for THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM starring Matt Damon and Guillermo.

That flip out is really sad to me. I love Matt Damon. Do you think he is really pissed? It seems that since he did the trailer spoof he isn’t still mad.

Lizzie – Damon wasn’t pissed in the first clip. He was in on the joke. Shows how great he is.

Matt Damon is so awesome! I love that he’s still down to earth and would take the time to do stuff like this. He doesn’t take himself to seriously and that’s just great. I wish more A-list celebrities had his personality.

Don’t worry Lizzie. This is a long running joke, and is actually hysterical. Matt Damon has always done such a good job of playing along, and he seems to be such an easy going guy that it’s that much funnier to hear him cursing and getting all mad. I hadn’t seen this latest clip. Thanks for posting it GMMR. Jimmy Kimmel is a freakin riot. Can you imagine hanging out with him and Sara Silverman? I might just wet my pants.
