[…] Archuleta is up with his second song of the night, a balled called “In This Moment”. This is definitely more of a finale song I suppose but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think it sounded like an upbeat Christian song (not a comment on religion so don’t bring it there). I thought it was kind of the perfect song for Archuleta, but I can’t say that I was that big of a fan. His voice sounded fantastic. Another great round for David Archuleta. Round 2 to Archuleta again (according to Simon). Not a good sign for Cook fans. But I contend that tonight really doesn’t matter, it’s all about who has more people voting for them at the end of the night. […]

Archuleta was absolutely incredible. He left me in tears and speechless. How can this young 17 year old have this kind of talent. And what are you talking about Christian music? This song will be a hit and will be sang at all weddings, graduations, engagements, promotions and the list goes on. WOW WOW WOW. And I am in my 40’s and still voting. Will be voting all night. He is the WINNER and the VOICE. WOW WOW WOW. Incredible

Archuleta IS the new Elton John prodigy-he has the added benefit of channeling consistently an angelic, almost frightening power of humility!

17 years old, and the greatest voice. Needless to say, the best American Idol role model. I held my breath with all 3 songs. This Junior in High School is a STAR. What a voice, what a face, what a talent. Everyone (all ages in our family started screaming when he completed his last song). We are voting and love this young man. He worked so hard and he deserves to win American Idol this season. Thanks to both Davids. Both very talented.

I’m sorry David A. didn’t win, but I hope he records the full version of this song so I can buy it! I can’t wait for his album to come out so I can buy that, too. Also, he is the reason I bought tix to see the Idols in concert. I like Cook, but Archuleta is the true talent and is very gifted. I’m excited to see how his career will blossom.

I have listened to this at least a dozen times. He was in the ZONE totally with this. Really showcased his voice and range and immense talent. I also hope he gets to record it and possibly release it. I’ll buy his CD!

Finally! People who can appreciate David A. for the talent that he truly is without running him down with names like “sappy” “boring” “dull”. I think he’s really a remarkable young man. I liked the song “In this Moment” simply because he sang it so well. I like both Davids but David A’s music touches my heart more. I wish him every success.
