GLEE Panel at Comic Con

July 26, 2009 by
Filed under #1 featured, Comic Con, Glee

It seems cruel that so many people have now seen the much anticipated second episode of GLEE and I’m still in the dark. I’m dying! When I’m old and gray I’m going to look back on this summer and damn the GLEEkers for making me wish away these precious months…but I need to see this show!! The wait has been too long.

My friends that attended yesterday’s GLEE panel at Comic Con were raving about the panel, the episode and the show in general. We weren’t there, but here’s the next best thing – the (mostly) full GLEE panel.

DEXTER Season 4 Promo from Comic Con

DEXTER fans should brace themselves for this killer (pun planned & executed) new Season 4 promo, first aired during this weekend’s Comic Con. Showtime has always been incredibly imaginative when it comes to the promotion of DEXTER. Clearly they know how to get your attention. This looks awesome.

Someday I’ll catch up on DEXTER. Someday.

Praise Jesus…or whoever that guy was that created YouTube. Sometimes it’s a thing of beauty.

To the fan who captured almost all* of the LOST panel from this year’s Comic Con on video and opted to share it with fans…here’s a virtual high five my friend.

*Comic Con always asks the audience not to record the videos shown on the screen because of copyright issues.

LOST Executive Producer’s Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof were joined (eventually) on the panel by Michael Emerson (Ben), Jorge Garcia (Hurley), and Josh Holloway (Sawyer).

This is LOST’s last year at Comic Con, so I’m glad those of us who couldn’t be there in person can still enjoy it!

Sit back and enjoy!

It kills me that I missed this. Jeffster rocked out some Queen to kick off the CHUCK panel at Comic Con. As they performed the rest of the cast joined them on stage to sing along. It’s a thing of beauty. If you’re like me and you missed it, here it is in all its glory!

More CHUCK videos from Comic Con coming your way soon!

And here’s the origins of Jeffster! Here’s to hoping we see more of Jeffster in Season 3.

ChuckMeOut.com – A New Site for All Things CHUCK!

July 25, 2009 by
Filed under #1 featured, Chuck, Save CHUCK

Hey CHUCK fans…we’ve got a new sandbox to play in!

Today during the CHUCK panel at Comic Con, NBC will introduce a brand new site dedicated to all things CHUCK. It’s called ChuckMeOut.com. I got a peek at the new site and I think it’s going to be a great destination for fans of CHUCK. The site has message boards, exclusive videos from the cast, and links to all the latest CHUCK news from around the web, it’s the “official” place to be for CHUCK fans.

And this site is really about us. Fans of CHUCK are going to be an important part of this site. From sharing news, participating in activities and uploading user generated content, it’s going to be our place to indulge in everything CHUCK. I’ve been given the heads up on some really cool stuff rolling out over the next few weeks, so keep checking back.

As you’ll see in the cast videos already posted, everyone behind-the-scenes at CHUCK is really grateful for what the fans have done for the show. Hopefully this site will help kick it up to the next level. I’m all for eating Subway subs, but wouldn’t it be nice to eat them because we want to and not because we have to at the end of next season?

Go check out ChuckMeOut.com and let me know what you think of the site so far.

(And since we show so much love to Zac, I thought I’d share with the boys a little Sarah Lancaster lounging in her bed…don’t say I don’t ever do anything for you.)

Who Went Home on BIG BROTHER?

Find out which houseguest was evicted tonight on BIG BROTHER. Click here: Who Went Home on BIG BROTHER?

PREVIOUS POST

Whatevs. The CBS version of BIG BROTHER really blows. You are missing out on so much by not watching the live feeds or BIG BROTHER After Dark.

Let’s cut to the chase.  By now you probably know that Laura was evicted last night and Jordan was saved.  Did you care? Me neither.  There was no way Jordan or Laura had a shot at winning.  The pros of evicting Laura? She was a smarter and more strategic player than Jordan. She could win competitions. With her boobs out of the house, the houseguests all have a little more living space.  The cons? Jeff is going to stand by his woman for as long as he can. He’s smart enough not to let her take him down, but he’s a nice guy and he won’t screw her over if he can avoid it.  Jeff and Jordan are a strong pair and last night could have been an opportunity to break them up.

What you didn’t see…

What’s up with CBS not showing what was really going on with Jessie/Ronnie/Russell.  Did you all know that soon after the whole Ronnie-gate scandal went down that Jessie went up to the HOH room to tell Ronnie they were still working together?  Did you know that Russell also snuck up to the HOH and told Ronnie they were on the same side?  Russell went as far as telling Ronnie that he was going to keep tormenting him publicly so just no one would know what was up! I don’t know about you, but to me that’s much more interesting than some of the nonsense we saw last night.

The HOH Competition…

Last night’s battle for HOH involved a skeeball type game.  It was more a game of chance and less of ability.  But the houseguests did have some time to practice with the contraption during the week so maybe that played a role in who won.  And who did win? Jessie.  Seriously, do any of the other HG’s stand a chance against The Athletes?  Jeff, my favorite HG, better thank his lucky stars that he’s in that group.  If not, I think he might be a huge target for Jessalie (my new name for Jessie & Natalie – since they are essentially the same in this house).

Who Went Home on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE?

Happy 100th episode!  I’m so excited! We’ve got the crew together and the party has already started. We’re in the theater and ready to go.  I won’t be able to live blog the entire night but I’ll be checking in on your comments during this extra special edition of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.

The Bench Dance.  Hummingbird. Little Joey Potter dancing. All that and two people are going home.

Can you stand it?

UPDATES:

  • Ok how sick was that montage?! I was getting a little teary eyed watching all the kids from yesterday.
  • The bottom two girls are Kayla and Jeanette! WHAT?! Already a shocker!
  • WHAT?! Jason and Brandon are in the bottom two? The top four dancers are in the bottom? America needs to be bitch-slapped!
  • People, not even the bench dance can save this night. I can’t believe this.
  • Rama Lama was AMAZING!!! How did I not know that Jailbait Ivan was in the routine! And Wade Robson?! I’m in heaven…or is it hell.
  • The room is divided. I enjoyed Joey Potter’s song and dance. Others…not so much.
  • Here we go. The girl going home tonight is Jeanette. Wow! The guy going home is (I can’t breathe right now)…Jason. Noooooooooooo!!
  • I am devastated.
  • Jason and Jeanette have been eliminated. This is a horrible night.

The SYTYCD 100th episode podcast has been recorded so stay tuned until tomorrow to hear our thoughts on tonight’s devastating loss (as well as the highlights from the past shows.)

GMMR Talking Summer TV on CNN.com

Filed under #1 featured, GMMR Exclusives, GMMR News

Surreal.  It’s surreal I tell ya.  As a passionate TV fan who started a blog to share her love of all things “The Creek”, “Lost”, “Veronica Mars”, “The Office”, etc. it’s bizarre to see myself quoted on CNN.com.  I never get used to it and I hope I never do.

Check out the article on CNN.com to hear what bloggers and critics have to say about network TV verse what cable is offering this summer.

Read on: Summer TV Shows not so hot for crtics, bloggers (CNN.com)

(Note: Not everything I said made it into the article, obviously.  I mean there is no way I talked about my summer viewing without mentioning SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE!)
