ONE TREE HILL: We Still Don’t Know If Quinn and Clay Are Going To Be Okay?!

September 15, 2010 by

So, season 8 of ONE TREE HILL opens with yet another sort of interesting storytelling device: The dream juxtaposed against what’s really going down… the nightmare.

Did Quinn and Clay simply imagine being shot by that psycho last spring?! Omigosh they totally did… NOT.

Is Haley’s pregnancy perfectly healthy? Uh, well, the docs are insisting on “running some tests” because… there are clearly some concerns.

Are Brooke and Julian going to enjoy their engagement in bed, where they should be, letting their successful careers run themselves, shepherded by all the wonderful support they employ? Or will the Clothes Over Bros babe’s happy day be interrupted by the realization that her mother has run her business into the ground?

Um, yeah, the latter.

And Mia’s man Chase is all mixed up with that sad excuse for an actress, Alex.

And Quinn and Clay are still bleeding out on the floor and no one’s found them.

And sweet little Jamie’s looking at porn on the internets!

Ay yay yay, OTH.

An interesting hour to open the season, I’d say.

You cool with it?

I’m really excited that GMMR is going to be covering One Tree Hill now. I really liked the premiere, particularly having the credits again. That just made me giddy. One thing I don’t like is that it seems completely implausible that Quinn and Clay would be able to survive that whole time. They would would have bled out by the time Nathan got to the house. I don’t know, it doesn’t make sense, but I hope they’re okay, and I think they will be.
