Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Tuesday, February 1, 2011

February 1, 2011 by

While those of us on the East Coast are bracing for yet another winter storm, things are really heating up on television. Ha!  Sorry, I couldn’t resist starting out the morning with a cheesy line.  But we do have a good night of TV ahead. Tonight feels like a ‘grown-up’ night of television for me as I’ll be watching THE GOOD WIFE, WHITE COLLAR and PARENTHOOD.  It helps me justify my more guilty pleasures — yes, I’m talking to you REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS reunion.

There’s plenty on the tube tonight. Here are some highlights. Talk to us about what YOU are watching.

“Weights”

The off-site contestants move to the ranch and face their first elimination. The ranch players, however, learn they’ll be able to skip elimination if they combine to lose more than 48 pounds. Elsewhere, a player’s weight-loss secret is exposed; and the teams compete in a challenge involving weights.

A marine is beaten to death in his backyard, and the team tries to find the man’s family and the murder weapon to solve the crime.

The Good Wife | 10pm on CBS
“Silly Season”

Cary’s team looks to challenge Alicia’s client’s murder confession; Wendy Scott-Carr makes threats in an effort to get Peter to drop out of the race.

Parenthood | 10pm on NBC
“A House Divided”
Kristina can’t accept Haddie’s relationship with Alex; Sarah demands a higher salary; Julia plans a bachelorette party for Jasmine; Adam’s meeting with Crosby leads to a surprise.

White Collar | 10pm on USA
“What Happens in Burma”
Peter and Neal work to free a diplomat’s son, who has been taken into custody in Burma for a crime he didn’t commit. The case requires the duo to use diplomatic laws to their advantage in order to overcome the obstacles facing them.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills | 10pm on Bravo
“Reunion Part 2”
Andy Cohen presides over the conclusion of a two-part reunion, which features the Beverly Hills wives recalling the diva dramas of Season 1. [GMMR: Disappointed that this reunion will only be two hours total. I’m not ready for this season to end.]

Southland | 10pm on TNT
“The Winds”
Lydia and Josie investigate a complicated rape case on the Westside; John bonds with an abandoned teenager while also dealing with having to testify at his father’s parole hearing.

Detroit 1-8-7 | 10pm on ABC

One Tree Hill (I love Brooke and Julian together) and the RHOBH reunion! I’m not ready for the season to be over either. 🙂
