BONES: Tina Majorino Previews Agent Shaw’s Return

November 30, 2011 by

While we may have previewed Thursday’s brand new episode of BONES, “The Male in the Mail,” by answering a few questions about what goes down, there is one aspect of the hour that went unmentioned that we’re particularly excited for — the return of Tina Majorino’s Agent Shaw!

When we first were introduced to Agent Shaw last season, she helped Booth finally nab Broadsky. Now all these months later, Majorino tells me that her character is still doing everything in her power to prove herself to Booth.

Recently, I sat down with Majorino to talk about her return to BONES, if she got to use a gun on-screen, if she wants Shaw to get a little romance in her life and what it would take to get her back on the Fox series for a third time.

Comments Off on THE EXES Series Premiere Preview

TV Land’s original scripted department may best be known for HOT IN CLEVELAND, but tonight the channel debuts their brand new sitcom, THE EXES.

Starring comedy vets Donald Faison (SCRUBS), Wayne Knight (SEINFELD), David Alan Basche (THE STARTER WIFE) and Kristen Johnston (3rd ROCK FROM THE SUN), the series centers around three divorced men who live together. Making things even more complicated, they live across the hall from their divorce attorney — who also happens to be their landlord.

About Last Night… GLEE, RINGER, RAISING HOPE and More

So, um, television mostly got me angry last night. With the exception of RAISING HOPE (and how can you be angry at that show?), TV last night was kind of terrible.

With that loveliness out of the way, let’s talk about what went down Tuesday night…

RINGER Recap: ‘That’s What You Get for Trying to Kill Me’

Well, Tuesday’s RINGER was kind of boring, right?

Of course, if you saw the mid-season finale of RINGER, you know I’m joking (I hope). Although the episode wasn’t my favorite of the season, it was one of the best because (MAJOR SPOILER ALERT) not only was there a shocking death, but there were two shocking deaths!

The newest Fox comedy may be called I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER, but one thing is for certain — this cast certainly has decidedly more affection for each other than the title might imply.

Case in point: When I was on the set talking with Chad Coleman (Gary), Eric Sheffer Stevens (Matt) — the on-screen fathers of the aforementioned teenage daughters — and Kevin Rahm (Jack, Matt’s brother) we got interrupted by costars Jaime Pressly (Annie) and Katie Finneran (Nikki) crashing our interview. (And yes, it was adorable.)

GLEE is back after a Thanksgiving (and THE X FACTOR)-induced one week break! And while tonight’s brand new hour, “I Kissed a Girl,” may deal a lot with Santana’s coming out process, it also features another milestone: Dot-Marie Jones’ (Coach Bieste) first real solo song!

But before Jones filmed that, we sat down with her and costar Jayma Mays (Emma) to discuss what their dream songs would be to sing on the show, plus who they’d love to sing with.

CASTLE: Stana Katic Talks About the ‘Kill Shot’ Ending and Previews ‘Cuffed’

After seasons of struggling with her mother’s death, CASTLE’s Beckett finally made a conscious decision at the end of last week’s episode, “Kill Shot,” to try and start to let go of the case that has defined so much of who she has become. (Though, as regular CASTLE fans are well aware, Castle is secretly investigating her mother’s case on his own.)

So what’s next?

I sat down with Stana Katic (Beckett) after her recent SAG Foundation panel to discuss what Beckett’s revelation will mean for her character. Plus, with next week’s episode literally handcuffing the duo together, will any of their long-simmering secrets be revealed?
