When Tessa overhears George break up with his girlfriend, Zoe, on Skype, she blames herself for his failed relationship and decides that she’s going to get them back together. Unbeknownst to her, though, George is really enamored with Tessa’s cute art teacher, Aimee. He admits to Mr. Wolfe that he’s over dating crazy city women, and that he’s looking for love in the burbs. George decides to embrace the holiday spirit with a tree trimming party complete with ex-girlfriend, potential new girlfriend and the Royces, and he soon finds himself under the mistletoe with a special someone

“Purple Hearts”
Harry, Oliver and Cassie struggle to defend their client, a mother who stands accused of killing her infant son who suffered from a debilitating disorder with no hope for a cure. Meanwhile, Tommy and Adam represent a former-soldier-turned-clown who, after suffering a minor traumatic brain injury in the Iraq War, was deemed ineligible for a Purple Heart. In the holiday spirit, Tommy and Adam try to get the veteran the recognition he deserves.

Modern Family | 9pm on ABC
“Express Christmas”
The family is gathered at Jay and Gloria’s pool on a sunny December day, and that’s where they realize that everyone will be scattered this coming Christmas, so if they want to celebrate together, then it will have to be today! Everyone sets off with their respective duties for Express Christmas – Mitchell, Alex and Lily get the tree, Jay and Cameron are in charge of gift wrapping, Phil and Manny get the groceries, Gloria and Luke go retrieve the ornaments, and Claire and Haley shop for all the gifts. When they all return in the evening, it’s quite a sight.

When the CSI team discovers a deceased rancher was also a ballistics expert, they have to work with the FBI to solve the case.

“Spiraling Down”
A military colleague of Detective Amaro’s wife reports his 14-year-old daughter missing. The detectives find the girl working as a prostitute under a possessive pimp. They quickly set up a sting operation to entrap Johns on rape charges with a minor, and arrest aging pro quarterback Jake Stanton (guest star Treat Williams.) Detective Benson and ADA Cabot seek to make an example out of the football legend, but the case is thrown into chaos with the return of defense attorney Bayard Ellis (guest star Andre Braugher), who questions Stanton’s mental capacity after years of injuries on the field.

Revenge | 10pm on ABC
“Loyalty”
Emily questions Nolan’s loyalty when she discovers a secret of his, but eventually uses it to her advantage in her battle against Tyler. Unfortunately, it sets in motion a chain of events that prove just how dangerous Tyler is. Meanwhile, Amanda makes herself more comfortable in the Hamptons as word of her presence spreads. Victoria regains some power, and things get very ugly between her and Conrad.

Shawn and Gus hide a witness at a remote commune populated by eccentric intellectuals while they investigate a murder that the witness claims occurred in broad daylight.

“Smoldering Children”
