Great about Brooklyn 99. I hope it finds a wide audience in its new time slot. But ugh — nothing on Mindy Project? Mindy and New Girl have similar ratings, esp considering Mindy’s later time slot. Why is Fox giving up on Mindy when it is SO MUCH BETTER???

@Alexandra: Unfortunately, nothing on Mindy. If it changes, I’ll let you guys know ASAP.

    Agreed. Need more Mindy.

Really hoping for a full season order for Mindy. It’s been doing comparably well to New Girl and if they can afford an extra ep for these shows why can’t Mindy get more?

Some inside information. The #fullseasonforMindy campaign? It’s having the opposite of the intended effect. Especially considering some of the women have been calling and re-calling the Fox offices to complain, and harassing the receptionists and assistants. Not cool.

One intrepid soul actually found the HOME NUMBER of a Fox VP who has NO SAY on renewals, and called him about 20 times, demanding he renew “The Mindy Project,” before the police stepped in.

For what it’s worth, I like the show. But this group of Mindy Kaling’s extra-rabid fans are not helping the matter. At all.

Yeah, that never happened, and it’s really not cool, pretending to be the Glamour reporter (Jessica Radloff) who covers the show.

Great news on New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-nine. B99 has definitely brought up its game. However, I hope they don’t get Jake and Amy together any time soon, or maybe never. I don’t feel the chemistry between them at all, and I like it better as an ensemble show. It pretty much ruined New Girl when they got Jess and Nick together. Mindy Project is different because that was always a show about romance, but B99 is so NOT!

Excuse me? I never said I was “Jessica Radloff,” nor do I have any idea who that is.

Yes, it did happen. Both to the Fox VP and to several receptionists and assistants.

You sound extremely defensive. I’m guessing you’re part of the “Harass Fox Till Mindy Gets Renewed” club?

How’s that working out for you?

Fantastic artical, I unfortunately had some problems printing this artcle out, The print formating looks a little screwed over, something you may want to appear into.
