ONE CHICAGO, SEAL TEAM, and WHISKEY CAVALIER

“My Life for Yours” — Bravo Team desperately searches for Ray after he gets separated from them while in enemy territory, on SEAL TEAM, Wednesday, May 8 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Let’s talk about Wednesday’s TV…

CHICAGO MED: It clearly wasn’t intentional, but the timing of the people willing to die to protest the planet’s death was…something.

When Will and Natalie’s wedding fell apart in the winter finale, I figured they would have reconciled by now. It’s sad to see them in such a bad place; his comment about how fast she let her son meet her new boyfriend was harsh. I’m curious how much they’ll have them reconcile by the end of the season.

I have absolutely no clue what they’re doing with Ava and Connor. He wasn’t just imagining her transgressions, we saw a lot of her sketchy behavior. Heck, the show emphasized it even outside of their scenes together. Now…she’s confused by him not trusting her?

CHICAGO FIRE: Did not love the gross brain injury. Super did not love the shot of the dead dog. The caper was fun, at least. (Even if it did backfire.)

Torn on Brett and Casey right now. I wish they had played more of a long game with them, but it seems like they’ll be diving in to it very soon.

SEAL TEAM: David Boreanaz has directed a good amount of times before, including big, action-packed hours, but it feels like last night’s SEAL TEAM hour was the biggest yet. Even excluding the emotional impact of Ray being MIA, shooting all of those scenes on a steep mountain—with action coming both in the foreground and background—had to have been bonkers complicated. It was really, really impressive what he and the show were able to pull off.

CHICAGO P.D.: Hailey and Adam probably weren’t meant for a long-term relationship (together), but it was sad they spiraled so fast…and they broke up at work? I get they were alone, but you’d think they would have wanted a little bit of privacy.

WHISKEY CAVALIER: “Are you hurting because you’re old?” Oh my God, what an absolutely delightful episode of the show. Will and Frankie as bickering professors/mom and dad to their baby spy—so much fun. The team going undercover at the college was so much fun, and a great way to let each of them shine in their own way.
